Cynthia Bailey Was Obsessed With Asking Teresa Giudice About This Topic

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alumni Cynthia Bailey has opened up about her surprising bond with "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice

According to People, Bailey stars alongside Giudice in the forthcoming reality TV spin-off "Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip," which will see some of the best known "Real Housewives" cast members from various franchises come together for a tropical vacation.

During an appearance on Access Hollywood's Housewives Nightcap, Bailey revealed that she "was surprised" to have bonded with Giudice while filming the spin-off because she was "kind of afraid of her" beforehand.

"She's the sweetest woman. Like, one of the sweetest people I know, and I'm so excited to call her a friend," she said. Bailey continued, "I think we connected for a number of reasons, but I love the fact that she's so happy. She's so happy and she's so in love. And I, you know, am happy and in love as well. And it's just such a beautiful space to see her in."

Cynthia Bailey was curious about Teresa Giudice's time in jail

As noted by The Sun, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison in 2014 after pleading guilty to multiple counts of bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. While filming Peacock's "Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip," Cynthia Bailey revealed that she "was very obsessed [with] asking her about jail."

Speaking on Access Hollywood's Housewives Nightcap, the "RHOA" star said, "I just couldn't wait to get her by herself and be like, 'Girl, what was jail like?' 'So what did you do in there?' 'What did you eat?' I needed to know everything and she was so giving and transparent."

However, Bailey went on to reveal that she found Giudice to be much calmer in real life compared to her public persona. "She was doing yoga. She was, you know, cooking in there ... I'll just say that she was one of the ladies that I was definitely the most interested in getting to know, and I was so surprised [by] how much we actually had in common."

Per People, Bailey, who recently announced that she is leaving "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" after 12 seasons, is joined on the Peacock spin-off by Giudice; her former "RHOA" co-star Kenya Moore; Giudice's sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga; "The Real Housewives of New York City" co-stars Ramona Singer and Luann De Lesseps; and "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" veteran Kyle Richards.
