Inside Porsha Williams' Relationship With Simon Guobadia

When it comes to reality shows, "The Real Housewives" franchise reigns supreme. The show highlights the lives of housewives across the country, with shows that take place everywhere from Beverly Hills to New Jersey (via Screen Rant). The franchise is wildly successful but "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is especially popular.

The show brings in 1.42 million viewers regularly and is by far the most popular in the franchise, followed only by "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" which brings in about 1.13 million viewers regularly.

What makes "Real Housewives of Atlanta” so popular? It is because of the larger-than-life personalities displayed by the cast (via Decider)? With cast members like NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, and Kenya Moore, there is always entertainment to be found. Plus, they are no strangers to drama. One of the show's biggest stars, Porsha Williams, has taken that drama to a whole new level by dating one of her co-star's exes!

The couple are now engaged!

Porsha Williams confirmed back in May that she was dating Simon Guobadia (per E!). If you are a fan of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," that name likely sounds familiar to you. Guobadia was married to one of Williams' co-stars on the show.

Guobadia was the husband of Falynn Guobadia who joined the cast of the Bravo show on its most recent season (via NBC New York). The pair announced that they were getting a divorce, and it seems it was soon after that that Williams and Simon began having a relationship.

Williams confirmed the couple was dating, stating, "Our relationship began a month ago -– yes we are crazy in love," Williams wrote. "I know it's fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most."

She continued, "For all of you that need facts, I get the optics but Simon filed for divorce from a previous marriage in January," she added. "I had nothing to do with their divorce filing. That's between the two of them. Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon's divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody's lives."
