Here's What Rihanna Looks Like Going Makeup-Free

It's safe to say Rihanna is killing it. The woman is a beautiful success story. Once known as just a pop star, the singer quickly transformed herself into a savvy businesswoman, and she is now second behind Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer in the world (via Forbes). That's not too shabby for a woman who used to be best known for singing about her umbrella. In response to what it was like to be a self-made billionaire, the singer didn't erupt with emotion. "God is good," she answered simply (via Billboard).

The newly minted billionaire doesn't need to say much to make it rain, and she definitely prefers to keep her image real. We know she can afford a full-time makeup artist to be at her side to ensure she has a curated image for the rest of her life. However, the Fenty Beauty owner likes to keep it unfiltered and doesn't mind exposing a pimple or two from time to time.

Rihanna admits to and shows off her skin issues

In a year of quarantine, political battles, and Zoom meetings, Riri was making her own headlines, posting makeup-free selfies on social media. "First selfie of the year doe. #2020," she captioned a photo of her gorgeous bare face (via Instagram).

Rihanna has enough beauty products — really, she has her own beauty empire. However, that doesn't mean that the face of Fenty doesn't like to let her skin breathe every now and then. "My skin type is just as complicated as men," she revealed while being interviewed by her boyfriend A$AP Rocky for Vogue. "It started from acne all the way to skin sensitivity, melasma ... being a black woman I would not know that I need to use SPF," she revealed (via YouTube).

There was be a noticeable sign of the singer's skin issues in her Instagram post, with a visible blemish on her cheek. If we're being honest, though, we were too distracted by the rest of her dewy complexion and stunning emerald green eyes to really notice.
