Tristan Thompson Has A Heartbreaking Message For Khloe Kardashian

Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian's relationship is one of the most complicated celebrity romances in recent history.

The reality star and the NBA player have dated off and on for years and have made headlines with their multiple dramatic breakups. Those breakups were caused by allegations of Thompson's cheating, which were first made public just hours before Kardashian gave birth to the couple's daughter, True, in 2018 (via Us Weekly).

Kardashian and Thompson's romance seemed rocky up until news broke that he had allegedly cheated on her again, this time with her sister Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods.

The couple spent months apart after the Woods scandal but reunited to quarantine together during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was then that they decided to give their relationship another shot. By summer 2020, the pair appeared to be back together.

However, in 2021, they reportedly called it quits again amid more cheating allegations, and, in December 2021 a woman named Maralee Nichols claimed to have given birth to Thompson's baby and filed a paternity suit against him.

It was then revealed that the baby would have been conceived during the time that Kardashian and Thompson were still dating. The NBA star later admitted to having an intimate relationship with Nichols.

Now, Thompson is opening up about his paternity scandal and sending a message to Kardashian about his actions.

Tristan Thompson publicly apologized to Khloe Kardashian

According to People, Tristan Thompson took to his Instagram on Jan. 3, 2022, to address his paternity lawsuit, revealing that he was the father of Maralee Nichols' son.

"Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son," he wrote. "I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately."

In the second slide of the message, Thompsons spoke directly to his ex-girlfriend, Khloé Kardashian, apologizing for all of his past behavior.

"Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you," he stated. "You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."

Previously, Thompson claimed that the only possible date of conception for the child would have been his birthday, on March 13, 2021. At the time, he and Kardashian were reportedly dating, and she even posted a sweet tribute to Thompson that day, calling him her "best friend" (via Just Jared).

Meanwhile, Kardashian has yet to respond to Thompson's apology.
