Is Pete Davidson Intimidated By Kim Kardashian's Level Of Fame?

The romance between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson is heating up, with the unlikely couple most recently spotted heading off on a romantic vacation to the Bahamas together. As People notes, the beauty mogul and "Saturday Night Live" star were initially linked back in October 2021, and have been spotted on several dates in the intervening months, including in Davidson's native Staten Island, all the while remaining tight-lipped about their developing relationship. This trip suggests things are getting serious between them, however. In fact, earlier this month, an insider revealed that "Kim is so into him," following her very public divorce from Kanye West in January 2021.

According to the source, they "are both really cuddly and affectionate with each other." Likewise, despite the fact the relationship between Kardashian and Davidson is still relatively new, "They seem more comfortable than couples who have been together a long time." The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star, in particular, is reportedly "very happy" with her new beau. Moreover, Davidson is "exactly what Kim needed after her divorce — someone to make her laugh and just have a fun time with." They're an unlikely match, no doubt about it. But is the undeniable difference in their levels of celebrity affecting Davidson?

Pete Davidson knows Kim Kardashian is the bigger star

Page Six reports that 2021's weirdest couple is still going strong, particularly following their whirlwind vacation in the Bahamas. According to sources close to Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, "They're taking things slow, but both are really happy when they're together." Although they spent New Year's Eve apart, the relatively new couple ensured they started the year off with a bang by jetting off for some alone time. "All of their friends love seeing how happy they both are. It's really great," the source continued. Kardashian and Davidson might be at entirely different levels of fame, but a source close to the "SNL" star clarified it's not an issue.

The insider confirmed Davidson "isn't intimidated at all" about dating Kardashian, noting, "He's very supportive. He admires how successful she is and loves how down-to-earth, funny, smart and kind she is." The SKIMS founder is notably "taking a more private approach" this time around, however, preferring to just get to know Davidson behind closed doors rather than sharing every detail with the world. Yet, although her boyfriend is pretty chill, Kardashian might be feeling insecure about their relationship since Page Six reports she unfollowed Miley Cyrus on Instagram after the pop star hosted a New Year's Eve special in Miami with Davidson.

Cyrus jokingly flirted with the comedian during a joint appearance on "The Tonight Show," which may have rubbed Kardashian the wrong way. The singer was also spotted visiting Davidson's Staten Island home.
