The Last Instagram Post Bob Saget's Wife Shared Of Them Together Will Break Your Heart

When news broke that comedian and actor Bob Saget died at the age of 65, your mind immediately went to his "Full House" co-stars and his family. As fans know, the star married Kelly Rizzo in 2018, and she is said to be "devastated" by his sudden passing (via Page Six). By all accounts, the couple was very happy together, as is evidenced by the last Instagram post she shared featuring Saget before his death.

The TV journalist posted a video montage of the couple just a week ago. "Another year of fun with this one...sorry December got a bit lazy," Rizzo captioned the clip, which showed the Sagets enjoying time together during each month of the last year. We see the sitcom star and his wife indulging in a range of activities, from simply hanging out, to posing in front of what looks like the iconic street in San Francisco where "Full House" took place. They cook together and goof around, and in light of Saget's passing, basically break your heart.

"I was there all year!!" Saget commented to the post at the time. Other comments to the video are achingly poignant now.

Comments to Kelly Rizzo's post will also break your heart

"Love you two!! Can't wait to see you both in the new year," one follower said in the comments section of Rizzo's Instagram post. "You two are so great!! Love your energy," another person said, reacting to the montage that showed an alternatingly happy, deadpan and goofy Saget.

As news of Saget's death hit the internet on Sunday night, many other fans and followers used the post as a way to express their condolences for Rizzo, with one fan noting she is lucky to have this video to remember their last year together.

Meanwhile, the comic's family released a statement the day Saget died, telling Us Weekly, "We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter."
