What You Didn't Know About Bob Saget's Ex-Wife

Friends and fans alike are mourning the loss of beloved comedian Bob Saget, who has sadly died at the age of just 65. TMZ was first to report the news, noting Saget was found unresponsive in his Florida hotel room and pronounced dead a short while later. No cause of death has yet been confirmed. Saget's family released an emotional statement, noting, "We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today," per Fox News. They added, "He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter."

According to The Independent, Saget was on tour at the time of his death and played a show in Jacksonville one night prior. He shared his enthusiasm about being back out on the road in a message posted to Twitter, writing, "Loved tonight's show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I'm happily addicted again to this s***." Saget's tour was set to continue into May, taking in stops all over the country. Although he was a well-established comedian prior to nabbing the role of Danny Tanner on "Full House," it was the hit family sitcom that truly put Saget on the map.

The actor is survived by wife Kelly Rizzo and three children, whom he shared with first wife, Sherri Kramer.

Sherri Kramer shared three daughters with Bob Saget

According to People, the beloved late TV star Bob Saget was married to Sherri Kramer from 1982 to 1997, with three daughters — Aubrey, Lara and Jennifer — resulting from their relationship. Saget was a dedicated father both on and offscreen, gushing to People in 2016 that the girls were "the light of my life." Although Saget was married to Kelly Rizzo at the time of his death, following his divorce from Kramer, the comedian admitted to Closer Weekly that he didn't envision ever marrying again.

Bustle reports that Saget discusses his first marriage in memoir "Dirty Daddy," explaining how the couple originally met in high school, when he was just 17 years old. These days, Kramer is registered as an attorney under the State Bar of California, though she also tried her hand at screenwriting while working with her ex-husband, too. The couple's split doesn't appear to have been acrimonious, though neither Saget nor Kramer has openly discussed it in the years since.

The comedian did tell Closer Weekly that the kids "love" Rizzo, however. According to Closer Weekly, Aubrey was born in 1987, followed by Lara in 1989, and finally Jennifer in 1992. Heavy notes Kramer currently lives in California and stays mostly under the radar. Suffice to say, their blended family kept things relatively low-key.
