Here's Why Fans Think Kourtney Kardashian Already Had Her Bridal Shower

Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian during a romantic beachside proposal in the fall of 2021. The duo was surrounded by red roses and romantic candles as evidenced by photos that appeared on Kardashian's Instagram account. She captioned the gorgeous snapshots simply: "forever." Since then we've learned more about her absolutely stunning engagement ring, which is rumored to feature a 15-carat diamond with a price tag upwards of $1 million.

Lately, fans have been wondering what the next steps will be as Kourtney and Barker get ready for wedding planning. Life & Style reported that the A-listers are planning to say "I do" before the end of 2022. The publication added that the nuptials are expected to be featured heavily during the Kardashian family's new reality series on Hulu. However, The U.S. Sun called into question how much attention Kourtney's wedding planning is getting on-screen as her sisters' drama (such as Kim Kardashian's progressively messier divorce from Kanye West and her burgeoning relationship with Pete Davidson) monopolizes camera time.

Either way, the general consensus appears to be that the plans are for them to get hitched before the end of the year. And it just so happens that some fans think Kourtney took the next step in her wedding planning over the weekend.

Fans think Kourtney Kardashian teased wedding shower photos on Instagram

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's wedding planning may not be getting as much attention as it should, but the pair is still very much going forward with the wedding, obviously. That means that Kourtney and her family have some other exciting events to plan in the lead up to the big day. For starters, she'll need a bridal shower. According to The U.S. Sun, a faction of fans think that already went down. Why? The publication noted that Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian shared photos from some sort of mysterious gathering on their Instagram stories over the January 22 weekend.

Khloé's photo featured whimsical, purple floral arrangements. Kourtney meanwhile uploaded a photo of a place setting at a pristinely set table. The white plate was set off by a lilac, linen napkin, crystal goblet, and a hand-tied mini-bouquet of lavender. Blocks next to the table spelled out Kourtney's name. A second photo on Kourtney's Instagram showed off a tray of sweet treats. Obviously, neither of the sisters confirmed what the event was for, which has led to speculation that Kourtney was being celebrated.

However, critics of the theory pointed out that the building blocks looked more like something from a baby shower. Additionally, lilac and white doesn't seem like a color story that would be associated with the plucky power couple (even if they go for a more traditional wedding). We'll just have to wait for confirmation.
