Why Steve Harvey Says He's 'Uncomfortable' With Michael B. Jordan

Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey, daughter of legendary "Family Feud" host Steve Harvey, are one of the hottest couples in Hollywood. Per People, the actor and model went Instagram official in January 2020 after they'd been quietly dating for a few months. Although the notoriously private "Creed" star acknowledged he still wanted to keep his personal life under wraps, Jordan felt that sharing certain moments with Harvey was important simply because, as he gushed, "I am extremely happy."

The gorgeous couple was first linked back in November 2020, around Thanksgiving, after being snapped together by TMZ visiting Harvey's hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. They were subsequently photographed by The Sun, arriving in Salt Lake City, Utah, the following month. According to Harvey, the duo initially met through mutual friends. The in-demand model told Bustle she was instantly attracted to Jordan. After making it official, they've consistently shared PDA-filled moments with delighted fans on Instagram.

However, not everybody is happy to see these two flaunting their love on social media. Case in point, Harvey's father.

Steve Harvey doesn't like seeing Michael B. Jordan's PDA with his daughter

During an episode of "The Steve Harvey Morning Show," Steve Harvey offered his initial thoughts on beloved daughter Lori Harvey's new boyfriend, Michael B. Jordan. According to People, the "Family Feud" host acknowledged, "I like this one." However, Steve also promised to keep an eye on Jordan, explaining, "I like him, but like I say to all of 'em, 'I might like you, I might approve of you, but I got a thumb-size section of my heart filled with nothing but pure hatred for your ass. Just in case I need it.'" Referencing the "Black Panther" star's recent crowning moment as People's Sexiest Man Alive, he quipped, "'Cause, you ain't the sexiest man in the world to me! Let's be clear about that."

Steve might approve of the relationship, but that doesn't mean he wants to see it. During an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" (via Twitter), the host pulled up a shot of Lori sitting on her man's knee in a glitzy minidress. Initially speechless, a clearly uncomfortable Steve admitted, "I've never seen that picture before. I'm very uncomfortable with that picture right there. I'm not really feeling that picture."

Thankfully, the awkward moment passed quickly as the "Judge Steve Harvey" host went on to concede, once again, that Jordan is "a really good guy coming from a good family." However, Steve also reiterated, "At the same time, I got my eye on him."
