What Happened With Shayne And Shaina's Relationship After Love Is Blind?
If the Netflix show "Love Is Blind" was about finding two people with the same mannerisms, the it would be Shayne Jansen and Shaina Hurley to the end. But, it was not. The show is all about falling in love through a wall, and it was Jansen and Natalie Lee that went home together. Now that the two are officially broken up, the world can't help but wonder if Hurley finally got her shot with Jansen. His latest Instagram post shows exactly where the two, um, three of them ended up, and the answer might surprise you.
For those of you not totally caught up on Season 2 of "Love Is Blind," here's a quick breakdown. Jansen ended up with Natalie, despite the love triangle that he caught himself in with Hurley. After 10 episodes of squints, eye bulging, and awkward pauses, Lee ended up turning down Lee at the alter while Hurley ran away from her fiancé Kyle Abrams as fast as she could mid-season. (It turns out that Abrams was atheist. He didn't even know what the term "godly" meant, which proved he was not the match for Hurley.)
Jansen is clearing up all the rumors once and for all in and Instagram post, and it will make your little blind heart truly sing. While he didn't go into much detail on the post, it's pretty clear on where he stands with the two "Love Is Blind" women.
Shayne and Shaina have not dated since filming ended
Shanye Janson is a man of many looks, but it turns out that he's a man of many words as well. He took to Instagram to clear up all the rumors about his on-screen love triangle with Natalie Lee and Shaina Hurley, and the final result is a lot less drama filled than you might think.
Unlike other cast members of "Love Is Blind," Jansen and Hurley did not get together after filming wrapped. Jansen says in his Instagram post that the two haven't even seen each other one-on-one since filming. "To put some other rumors to rest, Shaina and I are cordial and have hung out in group gatherings with the cast (with Natalie), but we have never had nor will ever have a romantic relationship," Jansen says in the Instagram post. "I wish her all the best."
There's been much debate, especially on Netflix's "Love Is Blind" reunion about how the show was edited. So it's safe to say that while the drama was there, there is no bad blood or confused feelings about Jansen and Hurley in life outside of the pods.
Shanye is very much still in love with Natalie
Unfortunately, things didn't work out for Shayne Jansen and Natalie Lee either. Lee says in the show that the two had an argument the night before their wedding, which is what she says drove the decision for her to deny Jansen at the alter.
The two gave an update at the reunion that they did give their relationship another shot after the cameras stopped rolling, but Lee just couldn't get over the argument that they had. "I will say, for me, I held onto that fight for so long," Lee says on the "Love Is Blind" reunion. "I couldn't get myself to move on from it, if that makes sense."
At the end of the day, Jansen is still very much in love with Lee. His Instagram post makes that very clear. "This journey with you will be something I'll never forget. It was easily the best time of my life and I would do it all over again knowing I get to spend more time with you," Jansen says in the Instagram post. "I don't know what's next for us but I do know that I will never stop loving you."
Ugh, our little blind hearts are rooting for these two. While it's not clear what will happen between the two in the future, there are plenty of fans that would love to see this work out in the end. No rush this time.
