Natalie From Love Is Blind Reveals More Details About The Fight That Ended Her Engagement To Shayne

With the conclusion of Season 2 of Netflix's "Love is Blind," viewers have been left with a fair few unanswered questions. The new season certainly served up its own set of unique individuals with a whole lot of baggage. As always, the show offered some heartwarming moments and some hide-behind-your-pillow cringe ones. Like most reality TV shows, "Love is Blind" had some fan-favorites, some villains, and also threw in a bizarre, red-flag, confusing bro-guy for good measure.

Shayne Jansen was clearly a crowd-favorite during the pods segment of the show — so much so that he ended up in a confusing love triangle between himself, Shaina Hurley, and future fiancee Natalie Lee, per Express. Once Shayne and Natalie officially got together, cast-mates and fans alike found themselves strangely rooting for them. They seemed to get along great and they were on the path to be one of the few success stories of the season.

Things came to a surprising halt all of a sudden for Natalie and Shayne on the morning of their wedding. A tearful Natalie arrived at the wedding venue to suddenly reveal that the couple had an explosive fight the evening before that changed everything, per Netflix. Natalie explained, "It was a really bad one, and he said some hurtful things to me," which left viewers dying to know exactly what was said in the fight that ended up causing her to call off their marriage.

Natalie claims the pressure of the wedding was part of it

After Natalie Lee called off the wedding, she and Shayne Jansen had a conversation outside of the venue that left viewers with even more questions. The cryptic confrontation hinted at a portion of the argument when Natalie questioned if Shayne meant what he said. She asked, "So you're saying you truly felt like you hated me, and I was the worst thing for you at that moment?" per Netflix. This tiny snippet alone left fans wanting more. What was the argument about? What was said? And what started it?

The reunion didn't shed light on specifics, but speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Natalie explained what went down, "It wasn't just one thing. It was an accumulation of a lot of different things. I think the pressure of our wedding also played a part into that, of feeling like we have to make a decision really quickly." She added, "I think it's our different approaches to finances, our different approaches to just general lifestyle. And I think just the feeling of making a lot of compromises may have gotten to him. I think he held that in for a bit, and it came out that night."

On his part, Shayne shared a touching tribute post on Instagram to Natalie where he shared, "As a man watching our story over again I'm remorseful for my actions and all I can do is learn from them to be a better man," before adding, "I don't know what's next for us but I do know that I will never stop loving you."
