Lynda Carter Stuns Fans For An Unexpected Reason

Lynda Carter has been catching the attention of fans and followers for years. In her teen years, she was raised alongside her four siblings in Arizona and spent her youth honing her skills in singing and the performing arts. She then went on to compete in beauty pageants. As the former Miss Arizona and Miss USA, Carter's career got a jump start early on, per IMDb. She won the title in 1972, and soon after she proved that she was much more than a pretty face. By 1975, Carter had secured her first major role starring in television's "Wonder Woman." She has stayed active in her career ever since, appearing on television series like "Two And A Half Men" and "Smallville." She also made an appearance in "Wonder Woman 1984" in the role of Asteria, and will reprise the role in "Wonder Woman 3." She is also an accomplished recording artist with four full-length studio albums.

With a career spanning six decades, Carter is no stranger to being in the spotlight. She is used to having paparazzi cameras pointed at her, and that's why it comes as no surprise that cameras caught her doing something a little different at an awards ceremony in March of 2022, (via Page Six).

Lynda Carter rocked an interesting look

On March 12, 2022, actress and singer Lynda Carter walked down the red carpet at the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Woman of Leadership Award ceremony at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. (via Page Six). Donning a floor-length color block patterned sequin gown in shades of black, white, and silver, the "Wonder Woman" star couldn't help but turn the heads of every onlooker. A slit up the leg added an extra touch of edge to the look, (via Daily Mail). She wore her hair in her classic long, dark, and wavy style and opted to pair it with a simple makeup look. There was no doubt that the actress stood out, but fans noticed something odd about the look.

As Carter made her way down the runway and fans watched and paparazzi snapped photos of the look, eventually, everybody realized that she was barefoot. The ceremony guest reportedly had shown up to the event wearing a pair of simple black heels, but chose to forego the extra height in exchange for comfort after a minor fall early in the evening. With or without shoes, this look was a stunner.
