Demi Moore Has Something To Say To Ex-Husband Bruce Willis On His Birthday

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis are one Hollywood couple that has stayed close following divorce. The pair first met at the premiere for the film "Stakeout," which starred Moore's then-fiance Emilio Estevez (via Us Weekly). The pair later began dating and eventually tied the knot in 1987. The duo wasted no time starting a family, and their first daughter, Rumer, was born in 1988. The couple also welcomed two more girls along the way: Scout was born in 1991, and their youngest, Tallulah, was born in 1994 (via Hollywood Life).

Moore and Willis were Hollywood royalty, and when they announced their split in 1998, fans were stunned. Two years later, in 2000, the pair finalized their divorce and officially ended their marriage. However, the couple has remained tight, and focused on parenting their children together.

"I still love Demi. We're very close," Willis told Rolling Stone after the split (via Us Weekly). "We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we're probably as close now as we ever were. We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues. The institution has been set aside... It's difficult to live your life and marriage under a magnifying glass, which is what happens to movie star couples."

Today, Moore and Willis still share a special bond, and the actress proved it with her latest social media post.

Demi Moore shares a sweet post in honor of Bruce Willis' birthday

According to Us Weekly, Bruce Willis is now married to model Emma Heming. Following their divorce, Moore also moved on with actor Ashton Kutcher, to whom she was married from 2005 until 2013. Today, Willis and Moore continue to spend quality time together with their grown daughters and even quarantined together with their families during the initial COVID-19 lockdown (via Today). This week, when Willis celebrated turning 67, Moore was among one of the first to show the actor some love, per the Daily Mail. "Happy birthday, Bruce! Thankful for our blended family," she captioned a snap of the two together in the kitchen on Instagram, adding a white heart emoji.

Moore has proven that she is also close to Willis' wife, sharing a snap of Heming in celebration of International Women's Day 2021 (via Yahoo!). "Our children are sisters and yet there is no name for what our family connection is to one another," Moore wrote. "We are mothers united, sisters bonded on this crazy adventure of life. Emma is a beautiful mother dedicated to her family, an absolutely gorgeous woman ..."

In addition to being close with Willis and his wife, Moore also proved that she's on good terms with Kutcher's wife, Mila Kunis, as the pair starred in a funny AT&T commercial together that aired during the Super Bowl.

It appears that other celebrity couples could take a page out of Moore and Willis' book, as they are a shining example of a happy blended family.
