What Does Travis Barker's Daughter Really Think Of Kourtney Kardashian?

Although many were left scratching their heads when Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker initially hooked up, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" fans will know that the two have been close for several years.

As a result, their children didn't have to get to know anybody new when they became a couple. As the Irish Mirror notes, things turned romantic between Kardashian and Barker during the COVID-19 pandemic. They went public with their relationship in January 2021, and he popped the question in October.

Barker's kids were super excited about his engagement to Kardashian, while the Poosh founder's children felt similarly, as a source told Hollywood Life. The reality star shared, during a recent episode of her new family reality show, "The Kardashians," that she was "grateful my kids can see a loving affectionate relationship because they haven't seen that their whole lives."

Notably, Kardashian's ex, Scott Disick, was among those criticizing her for the amount of PDA she and Barker indulged in, particularly in the beginning.

Their children have always come first, though, especially since, per Us Weekly, they actually brought them together in the first place. And now, Barker's daughter is making it abundantly clear just how much Kardashian means to her.

Alabama Barker can't wait for Kourtney Kardashian to be her stepmom

It's got to be cool having a Kardashian as part of your family. Alabama Barker can't wait, judging by a recent post she shared in honor of her father's fiancé, Kourtney Kardashian's, birthday.

According to Page Six, Alabama posted a shot of her posing alongside her half-sister Atiana De La Hoya and Kourtney to her Instagram Story, writing alongside it, "Happy birthday to the best soon to be stepmom I could ask for!" The teenager added, "You deserve the world."

Alabama is super close with her father, particularly following widely publicized issues with her mom, Shanna Moakler, whom Alabama previously accused of being neglectful in a series of damning social media posts. Thankfully, the two seem to be in a better place now.

Moakler herself wished her ex and Kourtney the best following their practice wedding in Las Vegas — sadly, as beautiful and moving as the ceremony was, Kourtney and Travis' Vegas marriage isn't legal. "Congratulations to the happy couple," she said in a statement to People. "I wish them the best that life has to offer on their journey together."

Moakler was married to the Blink 182 drummer from 2004 to 2008. Alongside Alabama, they share son Landon, while Atiana is the former model's daughter from a previous relationship. Evidently, this blended family is focused on the future.
