The Real Reason Christine Quinn Missed The Selling Sunset Reunion
We wouldn't blame Christine Quinn if she outright didn't want to attend the first ever "Selling Sunset" reunion. After all, the mom of one and designer label lover is nothing if not divisive. She basically clashes with almost everyone on the Netflix show, from Chrishell Stause — most recently over her relationship with Jason Oppenheim — and Mary Fitzgerald over, well, it's hard to know, since they basically cannot stand one another at this point, and seem to bicker on camera, while also bashing the other agent off camera.
If Quinn went to the reunion taping, there's no doubt she'd be grilled by her fellow castmates and have to be on the defensive the entire time. But, the star was not on hand to face the music after season 5 of the hit reality show, and not because she just didn't feel like dealing with the drama.
As TMZ reports, it turns out that Quinn's health status was behind her decision to skip the reunion, which was filmed this past weekend in Hollywood.
Christine Quinn is not the only cast member who was sick for the reunion
Christine Quinn, like so many other celebrities before her, was dealing with COVID and therefore had to miss the Netflix special.
"Christine tested positive for COVID on Saturday and out of an abundance of caution, she did not attend the reunion," the "Selling Sunset" star's rep told TMZ. Meanwhile, the outlet reports that another cast member missed the taping due to the contagious illness, but did manage to participate in the discussion.
Amanza Smith, like Quinn, not able to attend the reunion taping while quarantining, but appeared virtually. Meanwhile, the star shared on her Instagram Story that she has been keeping busy reading magazines and laying out on her kids' trampoline.
As for why Quinn did not choose to Zoom in for the reunion, her rep told TMZ the mom of one was too ill. "She is still feeling under the weather and is taking all necessary precautions to keep her family safe," her rep also said, according to People.
