Khloe Kardashian Gets Caught In A Lie Over Her Relationship Timeline With Tristan Thompson

The latest episode of "The Kardashians" has taken us back to October of 2021, when Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian (it was revealed that the Blink 182 drummer visited her father's grave to ask for permission to marry the Poosh founder), a milestone which she shared on her Instagram in real time. Little sister Khloé was apparently in a relationship at the time as well, as the mom of one admits on the episode that she "just got back together" with True's dad, Tristan Thompson (via Page Six). In fact, the Chicago Bulls player was present at the big proposal along with the rest of the family.

Of course, if you've been following the timeline of her relationship with her on-again-off-again beau, it had been widely reported that the Good American mogul and her pro athlete boyfriend split months earlier, in June (via People). At the time, as Page Six reports, at least one woman, Sydney Chase, had come forward claiming she was with Thompson while he was dating the reality TV star. Meanwhile, fans found out that December that although he'd previously denied it, Thompson was the father of Maralee Nichols' baby.

At the time, the disgraced dad apologized to Kardashian on Instagram, writing in part, "Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you." But, fans were led to believe the couple was not together and that the Hulu star would only have been hurt retroactively.

Khloé Kardashian gets real about her failed relationship

As Page Six reports, Khloé Kardashian's own show has exposed that she and Tristan Thompson were together for months after we'd previously been under the impression they'd split for good.

Even the youngest Kardashian sister herself admitted on Twitter during Thursday's episode of the show, as fans witnessed her gushing about her under-the-radar rekindled romance with the NBA star, "Well we know how this aged."

The star had claimed during the episode about the parents' relationship status, "We are good. We are actually in a really good place. We just got back together and he has been going to therapy a lot. There has just been a lot of effort on his part" (via Us Weekly).

Sadly, soon after her sister got engaged, the now-single star would have her heart broken yet again by her cheating boyfriend. The good news is that fans always rally around the star, who recently admitted her appearance at the Met Gala left her reeling with anxiety. As one follower tweeted Thursday, "You love love. And you were hopeful and optimistic. There is nothing wrong with that!"
