The Bold And The Beautiful's Kelly Katherine Lang Hospitalized After Scary Accident
"The Bold and the Beautiful" star Katherine Kelly Lang has been celebrating Mother's Day as a mom since 1990 when her first child, son, Jeremy Skott Snider, was born. Two years later she welcomed Julian Snider with first husband, Skott Snider. In 1995, she became mom to a daughter when Zoe Katrina D'Andrea was born to her and second husband, Alex D'Andrea, per Soap Central.
In 2018, Lang became a grandmother when Zoe gave birth to little Zuma, per Instagram, who became a big sister in 2020 when Lang's second grandchild Reign was born. Still, nothing can compare to her 2022 Mother's Day when she started the day meant to celebrate her and mothers everywhere with one of her favorite pastimes. Unfortunately, what started off as a dream day full of sunshine, mountains, and Mother Nature went terribly wrong and quickly turned into a nightmare that sent Lang straight to the hospital.
Katherine Kelly Lang was in horseback riding accident
Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan Forrester) on "The Bold and the Beautiful," thought she was starting her Mother's Day off right on what was supposed to be a 40-mile horseback ride. When Lang decided to give her horse a break, trouble began. She was walking her horse on rocky terrain and she hurt her ankle.
"At the bottom of the trail I tripped on a rock and my left foot took the pounding," Lang wrote on Instagram. "My ankle and foot dislocated off to the left at a 90 degree angle to my leg. I pushed it back into place. It was so gross but I had to do it."
Lang was grateful they were close to a road so a good samaritan called 911 and an ambulance transported her to the hospital, where she learned she had three broken bones in her ankle.
Of course, Lang refuses to let this accident get her down, as she still intends to bring Brooke to life as she recovers. "I will still go to work later this week and try to heal quick so I can do all the things I love to do," Lang declared. "I am still in the hospital today and trying to have a smile on my face. I am not a happy camper when things slow me down like this. And there is always a lesson to learn."
