Kim Kardashian Shares Adoring Message For Pete Davidson Following His SNL Exit
Fans were shocked and saddened to learn that Pete Davidson would be leaving "SNL" after eight years. In a goodbye monologue shared during the Weekend Update segment of the long-running NBC sketch show, the star joked about how young he was (20) when he joined the cast, and thanked creator Lorne Michaels as well as everyone involved in helping him achieve success.
Meanwhile, many fans took to social media to pay tribute to their comic idol, with one person professing on Twitter, "pete davidson thank you for all you've done for me, idk where i would be without you truly." Even Hillary Clinton shared her congratulations with the actor on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself with Davidson, and calling his run on "Saturday Night Live" "incredible" before going on to write, "Can't wait to see all you do next."
But there was one special person in "The King of Staten Island" star's life whose message for Davidson really stood out — and of course we speak of his girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

While Kim Kardashian — her hosting stint on "SNL" was widely praised — was not on hand to personally congratulate Pete Davison on his last and final night on the NBC show, she did have a good excuse. Her sister Kourtney Kardashian was marrying Travis Barker in Italy over the weekend, with photos and video being widely shared by the media and on family members' Instagrams (via People).
The mom of four also chronicled the lavish wedding weekend, but she took some time to pay tribute to her boyfriend. As People reports, the SKIMS mogul shared a video on her Instagram Story on Saturday that featured an animated ghost sharing a message about the major milestone. "In case you haven't heard this lately, I love you," it said, going on to add, "I'm so proud of you — of the big things and the little things and everything in between the big things and the little things." The message also noted that Davidson could consider his famous other half his "life cheerleader."
The animated ghoul later called the star "cool" and encouraged him to "keep doing you." Then, there was another profession of love. Later, Kardashian shared a collage of photos of Davidson.

Since Pete Davidson was wrapping up his prolific role on "SNL," he obviously was not on hand to see Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker say "I do" for a third time. It seems that ultimately, the actor was not involved in any of the couple's wedding festivities, with the first nuptials taking place in Las Vegas, followed by a courthouse wedding and then the extravagant Italian wedding.
And while their various obligations kept the two lovebirds apart, fans were tickled to see Kardashian find a way to be involved with his "SNL" exit, especially enjoying that in addition to her Instagram Stories that honored him, the reality star also seemed to show her love for the comedian via her manicure. The mogul posted a photo of pink polished nails, with one having been adorned with mini-gemstones in the shape of the letter "P."
"Okay this is adorable," one fan gushed, while another person commented, "You love you some Pete Davidson." We're pretty sure the feeling is mutual!
