Women Flock To Chrissy Teigen's Twitter To Celebrate Her Rainbow Baby News

Chrissy Teigen recently posted some happy news: she is pregnant. After suffering a loss in October of 2020, per TMZ, Teigen remarked on how the past few years have been a "blur of emotions." Still, she and husband John Legend are overjoyed to welcome a third baby into their family, even though Teigen says it hasn't been easy. "1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as [you] can see!) we have another on the way," Teigen wrote in her Instagram post. "Every appointment I've said to myself, 'ok if it's healthy today I'll announce' but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I'm just too nervous still."

But luckily, everything so far has been smooth sailing for Teigen and Legend. "I don't think I'll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I'm feeling hopeful and amazing," she continued. While Teigen has had some bad press as of late, people were overjoyed hearing her pregnancy news, and many women were quick to share in the celebrations.

Twitter is filled with support after Teigen's pregnancy announcement

Suffering the loss of a baby is a devastating experience for any one. So when Chrissy Teigen announced she had lost her baby, Jack, due to pregnancy complications in 2020, fans felt deeply for her. Luckily, her news this time was much happier and the internet couldn't help but express their joy for the couple.

While many people congratulated the couple, including stars like Andy Cohen, Katie Couric, Mandy Moore, and Rachel Zoe, it was the women on Twitter who really had an impact on our hearts. Many shared their own experience with loss, with @mandyhansen saying "How joyous! Congratulations to you and @johnlegend! Sending blessings for safety [and] health for mama [and] baby. Thank you for sharing your journey. As someone who experienced pregnancy losses and ended family-building without a child, it is good to see others find hope and success."

Other moms joined in to share their successful rainbow baby births. Twitter user @BrotherlyloveHB said "Congrats to you. I remember being terrified every moment of my pregnancy with my rainbow baby. Now he's 16 and 6'1". Sending you so much love through your journey." Another user, @hojowe79, mirrored this sentiment saying "I remember never being able to fully enjoy my rainbow's pregnancy. Even the first year I expected something bad — but he starts kindergarten in a month and we are overjoyed!!"
