The Bold And The Beautiful's Rena Sofer Reveals The One Thing She'd Change About Quinn

There's nobody quite like Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) on "The Bold and the Beautiful." Quinn first appeared on the soap in 2013 as Wyatt Spencer's (Darin Brooks) mother and Bill Spencer's (Don Diamont) ex. On the surface, she was a typical jewelry designer, but stabbing Bill with his trademark sword necklace painted a different picture. Once hired by Hope Logan (then Kim Matula) to showcase her jewelry designs for Forrester Creations, viewers saw the dark side of Quinn (via Soap Central). Her tendency to plot and scheme her way to the top shined through, and then she hit the ultimate jackpot; she married Eric Forrester (John McCook). Eric's the patriarch of the most powerful family in fashion, so the title of Mrs. Forrester is impactful (via Soaps In Depth).

Unfortunately for Quinn, she would only hold the title of Mrs. Forrester for a few years. Last year, she had an affair with Forrester Creations COO Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), and her marriage never recovered (via Soaps.com). Per Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Quinn never regained Eric's trust, and the pair recently split following his affair with company secretary (and his ex-wife) Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis).

With all of her misdeeds, unethical transgressions, and terrible no-good things Quinn has done, viewers might expect her to have regret or remorse, but that doesn't seem to be the case. However, her real-life alter ego and portrayer, Sofer, is shedding some light on changes she'd make to Quinn's story.

Sofer would like to erase a tragic accident from Quinn's past

Even if Quinn Fuller has no regrets about her past, the woman behind the role can think of one changeable moment. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Sofer opened up about a heartbreaking storyline that she wishes she could go back and change for Quinn. When asked what she'd change, Sofer said, "I would say when Hope was pregnant [with Wyatt's child] and then after an argument with Quinn, she fell and lost the baby. Quinn truly wishes she'd just left when she was asked and would have just left Hope alone, and I truly believe that still haunts her."

The incident in question was the beginning of the end for Hope Logan and Wyatt Spencer's marriage. Their relationship was already on shaky ground, but this was the final nail in the coffin (via Soaps In Depth). The miscarriage was difficult for Hope, and she jetted off to Milan for several years before returning in 2018.

If Quinn had walked away, the tragedy wouldn't have occurred, and the lives of everyone would be vastly different. Wyatt wouldn't be engaged to his former flame Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), and Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) wouldn't have reunited and had their daughter Beth.
