She has also worked in publicity for Chicago Review Press and Trafalgar Square Publishing, creating press content for a variety of book genres. Following her passion for horror films, Ashley was the co-organizer, content lead, and a programmer for the Windy City Horrorama Film Festival, a celebration of both local and international independent genre filmmaking. In her free time, she works as a writing competition judge with NYC Midnight. She is currently completing her first novel and collaborating on an illustrated children's book.

Education

Ashley is a Creative Writing graduate from Columbia College Chicago where she was a student of the Story Workshop Method and went on to tutor fellow writers. This method of writing education has led her to judge creative writing competitions with NYC Midnight and take on a variety of content-driven positions in a variety of fields.
