Go Behind The Scenes As The Young And The Restless Gets Ready For New Opening Credits

"The Young and the Restless" is one daytime television series that fans tune into for several different reasons. It's got glamour, it's got glitz, and most importantly, it's got a lot of twists and turns in all the drama that happens on an almost daily basis in this fictional town of Genoa City. Just recently, "The Young and the Restless" made a big change for a major show milestone – a new logo for their 50th anniversary, according to a CBS press release. There aren't a lot of television shows out there that can say they've been on the air for over 50 years, which makes it all the more special for "Y&R."

And while there's no doubt that viewers will always have a reason to tune in — like for this fall promo that left fans both joyful and confused – they've also been given an opportunity to go behind the scenes for the show's new opening credits. And yes, everyone looks like they are ready for their next chapter of their "The Young and the Restless" lives.

The cast of 'The Young and the Restless' put their best face forward

A handful of "The Young and the Restless" stars such as Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman), Christel Khalil (Lily Winters), and even Cait Fairbanks (Tessa Porter) all showed off their behind the scenes photos of their photoshoot for the new opening credits of the show, according to Soap Hub. Ordway shared a series of Instagram photos with her co-stars Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman), Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott), Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott), and Bryton James (Devon Hamilton). She simply captioned her pics with, "A few of my favs."

Meanwhile, Christel Khalil shared a glam shot with Heinle and captioned it with, "I was trying to look as pretty as @ameliamheinle and a duckface was all that came out," while Cait Fairbanks wrote, "Sorry let me soap for a sec." Many of her fans replied by sharing soap and star emojis.

That said, it won't take very long for the ballgowns to come off and the gloves to come back on, as there are still some mysteries to be solved, such as the truth behind Ashland Locke's murder. But then again, the cast does an incredible job of looking so good while doing their dirty work.
