Which Stars Are Returning For Season 10 Of When Calls The Heart?

Few details are known about "When Calls the Heart" Season 10 thus far, but thankfully we do know the Hallmark Channel hit has been renewed once again. Deadline confirmed the good news, just a month after Season 9 finished airing, while also announcing a new showrunner would be taking the reins in the form of "Supergirl" alum Lindsay Sturman.

As Lisa Hamilton Daly of Crown Media Family Networks enthused: "There are many more stories still to be told about the lives of the beloved characters in this series and we cannot wait for everyone at home to tune in to see what unfolds."

Meanwhile, Erin Krakow, who plays a dual role on "When Calls the Heart" as the lead and executive producer, raved, "We are so excited for all the viewers, especially the Hearties, to continue this journey with us!" There are tons of storylines to unravel in Season 10, per Parade, from Elizabeth and Lucas' wedding plans to Rosemary and Lee's parenthood journey.

As for which actors we can expect to see when the show returns, these are the deets.

Hearties can expect to see all their favorites when the show returns

There's still a little while to go before we finally see new episodes of "When Calls The Heart," but at least Hearties can get excited about reuniting with their favorite characters again shortly. Us Weekly confirms series leads Erin Krakow and the dashing men who play her suitors, Chris McNally (Lucas) and Kevin McGarry (Nathan), are all returning for the show's 10th season.

Joining them will be original cast members Loretta Walsh (Florence), Johanna Newmarch (Molly), Hrothgar Mathews (Ned), Jack Wagner (Bill), Martin Cummins (Henry), Ben Rosenbaum (Mike), Pascale Hutton (Rosemary), and Kevan Smith (Lee). Judging by social media, Amanda Wong — whose character, Mei, made a shock return to Hope Valley in the Season 9 finale — will also be popping up.

Likewise, Natasha Burnett (Minnie), Viv Leacock (Joseph), Andrea Brooks (Faith), and Kayla Wallace (Fiona) have all hinted they will be appearing again, too. Krakow revealed that she was heading back to set with a selfie posted to Instagram in July, writing, "Season 10 here we come!" She shared a follow-up post, posing with several cast mates, including McGarry, Leacock, and Hutton, earlier this month, showcasing how much fun they're all having while shooting the latest season.

Season 10 is reportedly going to be the most drama-filled yet

One person who definitely won't be returning for Season 10 of "When Calls the Heart" is Lori Loughlin, who was cut from the show midway through Season 6 following the college admissions scandal, per Entertainment Weekly. According to Showbiz CheatSheet, Loughlin's character, Abigail, was briefly mentioned in Season 9, when it was revealed that she still keeps in touch with Elizabeth. Likewise, Henry had reportedly gone to visit her at one stage, so we know, at least, Abigail is still alive and well.

Elsewhere, things may not be easy for Elizabeth and Lucas in Season 10 of "When Calls the Heart" if writer and executive producer Elizabeth Stewart is to be believed. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she teased, "All I can say is that the course of true love never did run smooth!" Meanwhile, Stewart suggested expectant mother Rosemary, who's used to being in control, is "in for some shock and surprises," too.

Although she wouldn't be drawn on specifics, Stewart made one thing clear. As the "When Calls the Heart" writer and executive producer warned fans explicitly, "I don't think it's safe to assume anything when it comes to love and relationships, especially in Hope Valley!"

We've got the next few months to speculate about what that might mean.
