Scott Kluth: The Truth About RHONY Star Tinsley Mortimer's Boyfriend

One year after their spit, Tinsley Mortimer and Scott Kluth are back together. The Real Housewives of New York City star posted an Instagram image on October 21 with the Chicago skyline behind her, where Kluth lives. After tagging Kluth (and including a heart emoji) fans were sold on the idea that they were back together, and Mortimer has since confirmed the good news to Bravo. There have been a lot of ups and down for the couple, but they seem giddy to be back together again.

The couple were first introduced in season 9 on RHONY and have been on-again, off-again all the way up to season 11. Kluth, being Chicago-based, had to find time to visit his lovebird, Mortimer, who resides in New York. "We've had our ups and down, and we've broken up a couple times. It's been tough. You know, distance is hard. We love each other," Mortimer told Bravo's The Daily Dish in a 2018 interview.

So, what's the deal with long-time beau Scott Kluth? Kluth is known to be a very private person, so finding the dish on Mortimer's honey takes some extra bit of snooping. His lack of social media presence and interviews make fans wonder who this mysterious man really is.

Scott Kluth is a successful businessman

Kluth is originally from Lakewood, Ohio, and as he explained in a 2013 interview with A Drink With, Lakewood is "not a place that has a whole lot of view. Of his current big city life on the 92nd floor of the Hancock, he said, "I never expected to live downtown full-time because my business was in the 'burbs, but I bought in this building and just fell in love with it. It's not even a view, it's a picture."

The businessman is the CEO and founder of CouponCabin, a business he started at just 25 years old with just $30,000. The company provides coupon codes for stores like Target and Home Depot. Kluth says he started out at Sears.com, where they would use coupon codes. After working for the company for a time, he decided to leave the corporate atmosphere. "I had gotten to a point where I was unhappy with the red tape and politics of it all, so I said, 'Why not try and start a coupon site?' At the time there weren't any sites like that." After borrowing $5,000 from his mom, he made CouponCabin something to be proud of (via Chicago Tribune).

The 40(ish)-year-old entrepreneur graduated from Northern Illinois in 1999, and with an estimated net worth of $20 million, he seems to be doing just fine with his business (via Just Richest).

And although Kluth is successful in his own right, he's probably most known as Mortimer's other half (however rocky it may be). Inquisitr reports that Mortimer is "smitten" with Kluth, and their plans for the future ahead.
