The Real Reason LPBW's Amy Roloff Is Pushing Back Her Wedding

The last few months have brought a lot of changes for Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff. Between losing her mother, getting engaged to her boyfriend, Chris Marek, and moving off the Roloff family farm, the reality star has had quite a lot on her plate.

She'll be able to take a bit of a break in 2020, though, as her wedding (originally scheduled for this year) has been pushed to 2021. "There's like no money left in my bank account, the money is literally flying out the doors!" Roloff said on Facebook live (via Radar).

Between shopping for Christmas presents and the new home she recently bought, quite a dent has been made in Roloff's savings. According to Radar, she bought a five-bed, four-bath 3,767 square foot home in September 2019 for $588,500. Roloff's ex-husband, Matt Roloff, cashed her out of her share of the Roloff farm for $667,000.

Amy Roloff has spent a lot of money on her new home

Some of Roloff's considerable net worth has gone towards renovating her new home.

"I thought I'd be moving in sooner but the construction took three weeks longer than expected," she said of moving into her new home. "I'm lowering the counter tops and making other adjustments."

While many people will no doubt be disappointed that Roloff had to delay her wedding plans, they can at least rest assured that she's happy in her new home with her fiance. It seems that they're getting settled into their new home and enjoying spending time together in their new pad. "Chris and I celebrated Christmas in the new house!" she wrote in a holiday Instagram post. "New memories and adventure together. What a change to be someplace new. And I'll look forward to making dinner and having most of my kids and grandkids over!"
