Keith Urban's Rumored New Flame Won't Be Taking The Stage With Him Again Any Time Soon

Long before their breakup, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman faced rumors about the status of their relationship. But even now that the Urban and Kidman marriage is ending, there are still rumors around the former couple. One of those rumors is that Urban has already moved on with country singer Maggie Baugh. Baugh performed with Urban for a show on his "High and Alive" tour, but it turns out that she won't be coming back on tour with him.

That apparently isn't a response to the gossip about a possible relationship between her and Urban, but rather an issue of timing. Baugh isn't currently a member of Urban's band, though she has played with him before. She was essentially a sub on the "High and Alive" tour for Natalie Stovall, who is a part of Urban's team and who has her own band called Runaway Jane that sometimes takes up her away from Urban's band.

Baugh is still keeping busy, though. She has a new single out called "The Devil Win," and she is in the middle of her own set of performance dates. As for Urban, he is set to play a final U.S. show of the year in Louisiana on Halloween, and then in March 2026, his tour goes on a Bahamas cruise and after that to Europe. Both singers have kept quiet about the romance rumors.

Keith Urban changed lyrics that references Maggie Baugh

The world was first alerted that there might be something going on between Keith Urban and Maggie Baugh during a concert where Baugh was on stage with him. He changed a lyric in "The Fighter," a song that he'd written about Kidman; instead of singing "when they're tryna get to you, baby I'll be the fighter," he sang "when they're tryna get to you, Maggie, I'll be your guitar player." Urban's lyric change was seen as petty by some, and it certainly didn't do anything to stop the speculation that he's already involved with someone else so soon after confirming the split with Kidman.

Baugh posted a video of the moment to Instagram on September 27 with the comment, "Did he just say that [?]" Two days later, it was reported that Kidman and Urban were divorcing. A day after that, Kidman officially filed divorce papers with "irreconcilable differences" listed as the reason for the split, via People.
