To make matters worse, JD and Charlie were close friends. While these are only rumors, they spread like wildfire after JD spoke at an event in October 2025, sharing what looked to be a passionate hug onstage with Erika. That's all it took for affair gossip to flourish, which then haunted the Vances' Halloween outing a few days later.
