Meet Todd Blanche's Two Kids Justin & Sydney
In yet another indication that President Donald Trump still insists on stuffing his cabinet with ego boosters, one of his own personal lawyers is now interim attorney general. When Pam Bondi smiled her way out of her position, hinting at some amorphous but totally real and very important job in the private sector, Blanche became the man who had to step up.
While there's plenty of public information about Blanche, with the MAGA crowd already digging into his past as a democrat, little is known about his family. According to Blanche's Federalist Society bio, he has a wife, Kristine Blanche, PhD, and two children, Justin and Sydney Blanche. For her part, Kristine has a rather active Instagram account, which has provided most of what there is to find about the family online.
The above photo from Kristine's Instagram in December 2025 features the Blanche clan attempting a traditional Christmas family photograph. On the left is Sydney with her own daughter, Blaine, then Kristine, Todd, Justin's girlfriend Alexis, and finally Justin on the right.
This is one of the few full family photos that Kristine has provided, though there are a few more dedicated to her son and daughter. There's an October 2023 post dedicated to celebrating Justin's 25th birthday, as well as a September 2023 post celebrating "National Son's Day" Not to let Sydney feel left out, Kristine also included Sydney and baby Blaine in a post for "National Daughter's Day" that same year. However, outside of this, it seems that Justin, Sydney, and their respective partners and families, prefer to keep their lives private (just like their Instagram accounts).
Justin and Sydney Blanche have avoided the spotlight
Unlike their parents, there is little public information available regarding Justin and Sydney Blanche. According to Times Now News and a few other relatively obscure outlets, Sydney is married to a man named Jake Burgholzer, and the duo have Todd Blanche's only grandchild so far, Blaine, as evidenced by Kristine Blanche's Instagram. Yet, outside of these tidbits, it seems that the children of the interim attorney general have opted to remain on the sidelines. Todd and Kristine wouldn't be the first political pairing to try and keep their kids away from the prying eyes of the media; in fact, it might be something that Todd and First Lady Melania Trump can bond on.
There's a reason why we rarely see Barron Trump in public, and that's thanks to Melania, who understood that privacy would be difficult for a youngster in the public eye. Although Kristine seems happy to share family milestones on social media, Todd rarely mentions his family outside of a brief byline. This is a break from the likes of Markwayne Mullin, who replaced Kristi Noem as DHS secretary. Mullin often places his family front and center in his campaigns and updates, even when they include tragic details about his wife's health.
Having a seemingly normal family that celebrates each other and keeps to themselves is quite the turn of pace for those milling about in Donald Trump's second administration. However, since it's just an interim position, there's no guarantee how long it will last.
