Brittany Mahomes' Floral Easter Look Is A Cottagecore Nightmare

Over the years, we've gotten used to seeing Brittany Mahomes donning game day outfits that totally miss the mark. Yet, her latest look proves that this WAG doesn't just flaunt fashion fails when she's cheering on hubby Patrick Mahomes from the sidelines. She also busts out the bad wardrobe for holidays, too. Let's just say — this Easter look isn't putting a spring in our step.

They say that April showers bring May flowers. But, Brittany kicked off April with a total floral overload. On April 3, she took to her Instagram story to show off some photos of a special Easter playdate her mom arranged. The photos showed Brittany and friends with their kids celebrating the holiday with crafts and the Easter bunny. Yet, even with all this festiveness going on, it was hard to ignore Brittany's outfit in these photos. The star sported a loud floral dress for the occasion. On its own, this likely would have worked just fine for an event like this one. Yet, for some reason, she paired it with a headscarf in a clashing floral print. This look proved that there can, in fact, be too much of a good thing — and that includes florals for spring.

Brittany Mahomes has proven time and time again that she loves to accessorize. We've watched her shamelessly flaunt wildly expensive accessories on plenty of game days. She seems to love bold bags, unique shoes, and statement sunglasses. Even so, it was a bit surprising to see her style this dress with this particular headscarf, since it was an obvious print overload.

While Brittany may love over-the-top accessories, this outfit was pretty out of the ordinary for her. Her outfits tend to be sportier and more form-fitting. She also seems to prefer glam looks to cutesy florals. But, perhaps she's enjoying celebrating the NFL's off season with a 'fit that's less quintessential WAG fashion and more cottagecore girly vibes. Even so, her usual trophy wife gone wrong outfits might be a step up from this over-the-top garden party look. So, as far as we're concerned, it's officially time to start counting down to football season.
