Dr. Phil Can't Hide His Shock After Learning What Just One Of His Wife Robin's Purses Is Worth

Robin McGraw's penchant for purses has had quite an effect on her wallet. After years of whispers, Dr. Phil McGraw and his wife Robin cleared the air about their 50 years of marriage last week, explaining that the divorce rumors are nothing more than rumors. Even so, five happy decades together doesn't mean that Phil and Robin know everything there is to know about each other. Robin still knows how to surprise her hubby — like by alluding to the price tags on some of her favorite accessories, for instance.

The McGraws recently invited Entertainment Tonight in for a tour of their mansion in Dallas, Texas. As they showed off all their decor, it quickly became clear that this famous couple has dropped a pretty penny on the things they have in their home. Yet, even Phil himself seemed taken aback by one famously expensive item. While Robin showed host Kevin Frazier her enviably extensive "boutique room," she made one shocking note about her massive purse collection. "This one purse — this Birkin — is worth more than all of the purses in this room put together," she said while showing off her crocodile skin Hermès Birkin bag. "Look at him!" she said with a laugh while pointing out the look of surprise on Phil's face. Her bewildered husband asked, "What's special about it?" before peeking in the bag and joking, "What? Has it got 100 grand in it?"

Robin McGraw is clearly a fashion fanatic

Robin McGraw has worn some inappropriate outfits during her time in the spotlight. It's clear, though, that she loves fashion. Her huge closet is filled to the brim with clothes and many, many pricey bags. So, the fact that this one bag may be worth the price of all of them combined is a bit wild — even if it is one of the most notoriously coveted bags out there. Crocodile-printed Birkin bags like this one can be priced up to nearly $600,000. While it seems that the McGraws don't mind dropping some serious cash (even if that sometimes gets them into trouble, like Dr. Phil McGraw's bankruptcy scandal), this is a lot — even for them. "I carry it only when I'm with you or security," Robin told Phil during her closet tour.

If it wasn't already clear that Robin is a major purse fan, she took her infatuation a step further when she showed host Kevin Frazier a marble sculpture of a Chanel bag that's nearly as big as her. "It was in the Louvre for a year," she said, noting that it took 12 men to carry it into the home. In the comment section on the house tour video on Facebook, one commenter wrote, "[Phil] looks like he didn't even know half of this stuff was in their place[,] I mean her place," with a laughing emoji. While the TV personality has surely seen most of the stuff in his home before, his reaction shows that he likely hasn't seen all the receipts.
