Pamela Anderson Is Set To Inherit Millions, Thanks To Her 12-Day Marriage
Rising to fame on the family sitcom "Home Improvement" and the beach drama "Baywatch," Pamela Anderson has lived in the spotlight, with every tragic detail of her life being revealed to the world, including her multiple marriages and divorces. Since 1995, Anderson has said "I do" five or six times, depending on who you believe. None of her marriages have lasted more than a few years, but her shortest period of wedded bliss was with Hollywood icon Jon Peters, Barbra Streisand's former hairdresser/ romantic partner/co-producer, who spearheaded the Oscar-winning films "The Color Purple" and "Rain Man."
Anderson, who looks just as beautiful without makeup as she does with it, first met Peters at the Playboy Mansion shortly after she moved to Los Angeles in the 1980s. Peters recalled the moment to the Hollywood Reporter in 2017: "I walked in and saw this little angel sitting at the bar. It was Pammy. She was like 19. I knew she would be a big star." The two began dating, but when the famous producer asked for the rising star's hand in marriage, she declined.
Anderson and Peters rekindled their romance shortly after she ended her marriage to Rick Salomon, but it wasn't meant to last. In fact, the 2020 marriage lasted less time than it would take refrigerated eggs to go bad, making it just 12 days. Still, those 12 magical days clearly meant something to Peters, who told Variety in 2023, "I will always love Pamela, always in my heart," before revealing, "As a matter of fact, I left her $10 million in my will." But, adding intrigue to it all, Anderson has said the whole thing was fake, telling Awards Chatter, "I never was married to Jon Peters," which would explain why it isn't the marriage Anderson most regrets.
Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters disagree about how their marriage may or may not have happened
Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters have given very different accounts of their almost-marriage. Anderson claims it never really happened, explaining on Awards Chatter that Peters reached out to her son, offering him $20 million if he could convince his mom to marry him. Anderson agreed to meet with Peters for lunch, but when she arrived, "...he had a bunch of flowers there, and he had everybody, all the family was there ... But I never married Jon. It was never a marriage, but we were just laughing about that." At the time, Anderson seemed to confirm the marriage was never official, but the relationship was, telling the Hollywood Reporter, "We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to reevaluate what we want from life and from one another." And a source claimed that the couple never legally filed the marriage.
Peters told Page Six a different story. According to him, it was Anderson who asked for his hand in matrimony, claiming, "She had almost $200,000 in bills and no way to pay it so I paid it and this is the thanks I get. There's no fool like an old fool." Anderson has had money problems in the past, at one point owing $500,000 in back taxes. She revealed in an essay for Flaunt that she only appeared on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2010 to pay bills before going on to write, "I sold my soul to save my beautiful home." Still, it's hard to believe Anderson wanted to marry Peters for money, and even the famed producer seemed to suggest she wouldn't need to do that, telling the Hollywood Reporter, "She's very smart. She raised two kids on her own ... She's got money. She's got a career."
