Great American Family's Best 'Autumn Harvest' Fall Movies, Ranked By Reviews

It's cozy and nice, perfect for going on a hayride and then curling up at home with an easy autumn romance from Great American Family. Sure, fall-inspired movies aren't as common as holiday movies (especially if you don't like scary movies), but there are still a few worth watching with a delicious pumpkin spice latte in hand.

4. My Boss' Wedding
When personal assistant Nicole (Holly Deveaux) is tasked with helping plan her boss's wedding, she accidentally stumbles upon romance herself with the groom's nephew Michael (Drew Seeley) in "My Boss' Wedding." Who can resist a little wedding romance this time of year? Originally premiered in 2021, this Great American Family film is cute, but not a favorite.
With 5.5 out of 10 stars on IMDb and a most common rating of 2 stars on Letterboxd as of writing, "My Boss' Wedding" is the least popular Great American Family fall movie. One person on Letterboxd called it "An absolute nothing-burger," while another said this romantic comedy "had lots of yellow and orange in it," so if you are looking for that beautiful fall aesthetic in your movie, this one has it! And if you like "High School Musical," then you will be pleasantly surprised to hear Seeley sing, as he provided the singing vocals for Zac Efron's character, Troy Bolton, in the first movie of that franchise.
3. Home for Harvest
Nobody knows beauty like a travel writer, who gets to experience the world. But sometimes, the most exquisite places are found right back at home. That's what happens in Great American Family's "Home for Harvest," as Katie (Brigitte Kingsley) gets an assignment in her hometown, where her ex still lives. She also meets a new man while she's there and rediscovers the romantic beauty of her home.
Initially released in 2019, this got mixed reviews on Letterboxd, like one person who said that it was a "Good ... story and a lot of great sweaters," though they didn't like the look of the male leads (Landy Cannon and Troy Blundell), whom they compared to Biff Tannen from "Back to the Future." Another said, "you would not believe how central avocado toast is to this movie's plot." As of writing, "Home for Harvest" has 4.9 out of 10 stars on IMDb and 2.7 out of 5 stars on Letterboxd.
2. Cider and Sunsets
Apple orchards, rustic weddings, true love — "Cider and Sunsets" has it all. As of writing, it has a 5.8 out of 10 stars on IMDb and the most common rating on Letterboxd is 3 stars, putting this cute movie in the number two spot of Great American Family's fall movies. It'll make you want to share an apple cider with the one you love!
1. A Royal Seaside Romance
If you're only going to pick one Great American Family fall movie to watch, then choose "A Royal Seaside Romance," formerly titled "Home for a Royal Heart" at its 2022 release. Real estate agent Erin (Brittany Bristow) is trying her best to save the seaside town of Shaw Bay from redevelopment. She enlists the help from a man named Theo (Dan Jeannotte), who is looking to buy a property there and getting to know Erin at the same time. They work together until she finds out the handsome guy she's starting to fall for is secretly a royal prince.
Many reviewers loved this film. One person on Letterboxd gave it 2.5 stars and commented, "sorry i kind of ate this one up." Another rated it 1.5 and wrote that this movie "was camp and ridiculous enough that it looped back around to being not extremely terrible, to the point which I felt like I was watching a highly produced college play (complimentary)."
