50 Years After Charlie's Angels' Premiere, Jaclyn Smith Is 81 And More Gorgeous Than Ever

There are many 1970s TV shows that have had a lasting effect on pop culture, but none quite like "Charlie's Angels." This groundbreaking show presented an empowering image of women in the '70s, giving them central roles that extended beyond traditional gender expectations. The "Charlie's Angels" cast has changed a lot over the years, but one thing endures. Jaclyn Smith (seen above-left), Cheryl Ladd, and Kate Jackson celebrated the 50th anniversary of the franchise in April 2026 and looked as gorgeous as ever. In fact, Smith celebrated her 81st birthday in October 2026 and she was practically glowing. Smith shared a sweet video on Instagram where her granddaughters sang "Happy Birthday" to her while she wore a Santa Claus-like cowboy hat. The caption read, "Celebrating with some of the ones I love most in the world! Missing a few, but Bea and Olivia made up for that! Feeling so grateful for this life."

Although Smith came under fire recently for seeming painfully tuned up from rumored plastic surgery (alongside her "Charlie's Angels" co-stars), it's hard to deny that she looks great, even if she did have work done. Despite any fan criticism, Smith has also admitted that she supports subtle cosmetic enhancements without taking it too far. "Let's face it, there are a lot of things out there you can do, but I don't like it when people don't look like themselves or they do too much," she told People in September 2026 (just about a month before her 81st birthday). "Everybody ages, everybody changes. It's the real stuff that puts you on top. ... No one stays a 'Charlie's Angel' forever."

Jaclyn Smith looks fantastic these days, as seen in the above and below photos from September 2026. Luckily for us, she's pretty open about her wellness and beauty routine that keeps her youthful. For starters, she's big on exercise and eating healthy, and she doesn't drink alcohol, especially not after dealing with breast cancer — a tragic health issue the "Charlie's Angels" cast had in common. You might also be surprised to learn that Smith has her own skincare line called Jaclyn Smith Beauty. She told New Beauty in 2022 that it's her secret to youthful, glowing skin. "You need to find things that work for you and I think, through the years, I have," she explained. "As far as my own [skincare] line, that works for me. ... I'm very much into sun protection, because we all know that will age your skin faster than anything." Smith also touted sleep as a vital factor in her youth-preserving regimen. "So is finding beauty in how you look best, finding the things that make you glow," she continued.

Smith also later told New Beauty in 2026 that there are a few makeup and skincare staples she's sworn by since the show aired. "I still use a concealer that I love from William Tuttle, and I still use Albolene Moisturizing Cleanser as a cleanser for heavy makeup," she shared. Lastly, the star admitted to Fox News in 2022 that she isn't overly preoccupied with getting older because, "I think that ages you." Additionally, she raved about spending time with her children and granddaughters: "They take me back to a place of such magic and innocence. I think all of those things have kept me young."
