The Reason You Don't See Hosanna Plath On Welcome To Plathville
Welcome to Plathville introduced a family whose way of life is wildly different to the vast majority of viewers watching at home. The Plaths, who live on a farm in rural Georgia and enjoy a super-conservative existence with strict rules (no soft drinks, television, or modern technological conveniences), instantly made their way into fans' hearts with their refreshingly honest TLC show. Simultaneously sweet and shocking, at least at first, Welcome to Plathville showcases how the family, which comprises parents Barry and Kim, along with their nine kids, Ethan, Hosanna, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia, and Mercy, go about their daily lives while keeping the modern world mostly at bay.
Although Ethan and his wife Olivia caused drama after seemingly going against the family's ultra-religious wishes, daughter Hosanna only made a fleeting appearance in the show — in spite of the fact she doesn't appear to have done anything to upset her parents.
Hosanna Plath doesn't live on the family's Georgia farm
As In Touch notes, similar to Ethan, Hosanna doesn't live at home. In fact, as the first episode of the hit show revealed, she lives in Ohio with husband Timothy Noble. The happy couple tour the country and perform music together, with Hosanna on the violin and Timothy on the guitar. Their official site describes them as "The Singing Pianist & Violinist Duo" and notes how they met in 2016, got engaged in 2018, and made it official in 2019. It also advises how Hosanna traveled the country as part of the Plath family band prior to meeting Timothy. "Their programs are meant to proclaim the gospel, encourage and uplift Christians, and ultimately bring honor and glory to our great God," proclaims the couple's mission statement for their music.
Naturally, if Hosanna is touring around with her husband (November and December 2019 took them around Missouri, Michigan, and Ohio alone with additional shows planned for Indiana) and their home-base is Ohio, it stands to reason they wouldn't feasibly be able to take part in Welcome to Plathville.
