The Truth About Sarah Ferguson's New Makeover

Sarah Ferguson has had a makeover and it's safe to say her glow is so good that she's looking absolutely fabulous. Given the Duchess of York has been open about her use of Botox and laser face-lifts (via PEOPLE) in the past, after seeing her star in her Story Time with Fergie & Friends YouTube series this month, we had to get the lowdown on what might be behind her current new look.

According to cosmetic surgeon Dr. Paul Banwell (via the Daily Mail), Ferguson's "eyes look noticeably wider and more open, with less heavy skin on the upper lids." Speculating that she's recently undergone upper blepharoplasty surgery, he then explained, "This is a type of surgery that repairs droopy eyelids and may involve removing excess skin, muscle and fat." Though it's not exactly a face-lift, if you undergo blepharoplasty surgery, "you will look a lot brighter, less tired and refreshed," he added.

Sarah Ferguson has been open about work done to her face

Dr. Judy Todd of the Synergy Clinic in Glasgow told the Daily Mail that Sarah Ferguson "may have used a micro-needling and radio frequency procedure to tighten up the skin and to reduce lines and wrinkles." Another expert told the outlet that the duchess looks to have refreshed her lips, thanks to a "dermal lip filler." As with other fillers, this type of cosmetic procedure helps to smooth lines and create volume (via Healthline). Experts also took notice of Ferguson's eyebrows, which may be benefiting from a recent brow lift.

While we could mull over what Sarah Ferguson has or hasn't had done to get her new look, we can only hope she'll tell us herself in the coming weeks. In 2019, Ferguson opened up about the work she had gotten done to her face, but also said that she wouldn't want to ever do too much. "I'm so animated and I like to be myself. I don't like the thought of needles and am very glad if I look well and happy," she said in an interview with the Daily Mail.
