Why Tim And Melyza's Engagement Is Rubbing 90 Day Fiancé Fans The Wrong Way

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans are up in arms about Tim Clarkson and Melyza Zeta's unexpected engagement, coming after Tim's three infidelities and the couple's infamous, expletive-filled fight on 90 Day: Bares All. So, what gives?

Texan Tim and Colombia-born Melyza met while in college, maintaining a long-distance relationship marked by Tim cheating on various occasions. Starring in Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, the show followed Tim as he packed his bags to try to win back Melyza's heart in Medellin, Colombia, and prove his faithfulness to her (via ScreenRant). The relationship ended on a cliffhanger by the end of the season, with Tim going back to Texas but promising to go back to Colombia to try to make things work.

While some fans complained about the couple's storyline being "boring," by the resulting spin-offs of the show, viewers could tell they were just saving all the drama for later. Following the season finale, Tim confirmed their official break-up on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Strikes Back, which many die-hard fans already expected. By 90 Day: Bares All, the couple revealed that Tim had cheated on Melyza with three of his co-workers, going on dates and having at least one "intimate sexual encounter." The argument was full of cursing and clearly signaled toxicity in the relationship – but that didn't stop the couple from trying to make it work nonetheless.

Here's what we know about the couple's engagement

Fans were shocked by the March 7 episode of 90 Day: Bares All, where Tim Clarkson and Melyza Zeta announced their engagement, showing off the Colombian-born reality star's ring (via Daily Soap Dish). It was hard for many fans to believe that the couple had forgotten about their issues from the prior week's episode.

In the episode, it was revealed that Tim flew to Colombia to propose to Melyza, while she gushed and noted that she's Tim's "only woman."

Although Melyza once saw their relationship as "contaminated" and having trust issues, alongside Tim believing he didn't need to apologize to his fiancée at all, (via ScreenRant), it seems the couple has decided they're meant to be. The reality stars shared photos to their Instagram profiles, but fans quickly noticed that both deleted all other pictures off their feeds. Probably wanting to start off with a clean slate.

As reported by Daily Soap Dish, users' comments ranged from "I could never forgive or see my husband's face again if he ever cheated on me...this is crazy...I don't think she will ever move past it. No way." Another wrote, "Wow I thought they were totally damaged I guess love proves everybody wrong sometimes."

While the couple's support varies, Reddit fans are now speculating that the couple is just looking for another 90 Day spin-off. Whatever the opinion on the engagement, it's safe to say we're all living for the drama!
