Allison Janney Shares Her Thoughts About Never Getting Married Or Having Kids
Allison Janney is single now, but that's not big news. So are a third of all people living in the United States, says Statista. The Mom star is 61 years old, and, like anyone who's been around the block, has some pretty terrifying dating stories. Take the time, (she told Jimmy Kimmel) that Janney dated a germaphobe who required that both slather their lips with Neiosporin before kissing (via Youtube).
That hasn't stopped the Oscar and Emmy award winner from keeping herself open. "Love is such a powerful drug," she told Elle in 2014, "And when that's coursing through your system ... I want to be a player! I'm still single! I want to feel sexy and pretty and young as long as I can." It's 2021, and we can unequivocally say that Janney still looks sexy, pretty, and young to us. The actress is also still open to new flames. Sporting a spectacular new hairdo that shows off her natural locks, she recently told Drew Barrymore that "hopefully sometime a man will be able to run his hands through my hair and appreciate it" (via Youtube). But while the West Wing alum (who might love wigs as much as Dolly Parton), would "love to eventually find someone to share my life," she's not lonely by herself. Neither is she sweating never having had kids.
Allison Janney thinks she'll "be just fine"
"I think if I'd found the right guy at the right time and wanted to have kids, I probably would have with the right partner," Allison Janney reflected to Drew Barrymore (via Youtube). "I wasn't ever really confident that I wanted to have kids, and I would rather regret not having kids than have kids and regret it. You know, I'm okay with it." Has Janney thought about what her life might be like if she spends the rest of it, single? She has. "I think I'll be just fine," the actress affirmed.
But back to the kissing stories. The next person who does lock lips with Allison Janney can count his lucky stars. Also, Janney's got Rosie O'Donnell's endorsement. "I got to kiss Rosie," the actress bragged to Dallas Voice, "Rosie said I was a good kisser. And Rosie O'Donnell is a great kisser, I have to say."
