The Madison LeCroy rumors were too much for Jennifer Lopez

The official announcement that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have split comes after Page Six said they were no longer together in March. The publication said that after the couple had to postpone their wedding due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and rumors surrounding Southern Charm's Madison LeCroy surfaced, the couple had broken up.

A source told the publication, "The Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed by it." In February 2021, fellow Southern Charm star Danni Baird alleged that LeCroy had been FaceTiming Rodriguez on the Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast. After LeCroy was rumored to be involved with a sports star, she told Page Six that any contact with Rodriquez had been "innocent" and they'd never met up.

A source told the publication, "They had a great couple days in the DR. They continue to work through things. That's the status quo right now. They're together." The pair were pictured by the publication looking very close, but it's possibly it was the beginning of the end.
