This Is How Much Addison Rae Is Actually Worth

TikTok star Addison Rae has had a meteoric rise to fame on the wildly popular video-sharing platform. Rae first joined the social media site in July 2019, just before attending Louisiana State University. Though Rae is currently one of the top creators on the app, she was hesitant at first to partake in the rising platform. Eventually, she decided to give in to the craze and posted her first video while on a family vacation.

She told the hosts of the "Emergency Contact" podcast, per CheatSheet, "I posted a video of my dad for my first video ever, which no one really knows. Definitely no traction there. ... It was, like, the dumbest, weirdest video I could have posted ever. I got, like, literally one like."

Luckily for Rae, she decided to give TikTok another chance and she posted a video where she lip-synched alongside one of her friends that ended up going viral. She recalled, "The first day I posted it, my friends had liked it. So it had, like, 15 likes or something, and I was like, 'OK, I'm getting the hang of this. I'm figuring it out. Then the next morning, I woke up and it had 92,000 likes." Rae has since amassed over 79 million followers on the app and has used her newfound social media fame to create a name for herself outside of TikTok and earn millions of dollars.

Addison earns most of her money from TikTok

In addition to earning money from brand partnerships and sponsored posts, Addison Rae is making money as the face of popular clothing company American Eagle. In 2020, Rae became the face of the company's #AExME Back to School ads. She told People, "AE's commitment to celebrating inclusivity is one of the reasons I decided to partner with the brand. I've built my platform on being my real self, and I recognize that I can have a huge impact. I'm committed to using my voice to continue to champion for others to love their real, most authentic selves."

Rae's impact is undeniable. According to a report by Launchmetrics, the starlet generated $4.26 million in Media Impact Value for American Eagle over six months. In addition to helping boost the sales of fashion companies, such as American Eagle, Fashion Nova, and Skims, Rae launched her own beauty brand. In 2020, she launched ITEM Beauty, which offers skin care products and makeup essentials like beauty blenders, blushes, and lip oils (via PR Newswire).

Rae also has a budding career as a singer and an actress. Rae performed her debut song "Obsessed" on The Tonight Show and her music video has 17 million views on YouTube. Rae is also slated to star in the "He's All That" – remake of '90s teen flick "She's All That" – which will premiere on Netflix on August 27, 2021 (via Seventeen).

According to Cheat Sheet, Rae is worth about $5 million dollars as of 2021.
