This Is How Much Addison Rae Is Actually Worth

TikTok star Addison Rae has had a meteoric rise to fame on the wildly popular video-sharing platform. Rae first joined the social media site in July 2019, just before attending Louisiana State University. Though Rae is currently one of the top creators on the app, she was hesitant at first to partake in the rising platform. Eventually, she decided to give in to the craze and posted her first video while on a family vacation.

She told the hosts of the "Emergency Contact" podcast, per CheatSheet, "I posted a video of my dad for my first video ever, which no one really knows. Definitely no traction there. ... It was, like, the dumbest, weirdest video I could have posted ever. I got, like, literally one like."

Luckily for Rae, she decided to give TikTok another chance and she posted a video where she lip-synched alongside one of her friends that ended up going viral. She recalled, "The first day I posted it, my friends had liked it. So it had, like, 15 likes or something, and I was like, 'OK, I'm getting the hang of this. I'm figuring it out. Then the next morning, I woke up and it had 92,000 likes." Rae has since amassed over 79 million followers on the app and has used her newfound social media fame to create a name for herself outside of TikTok and earn millions of dollars.
