This Is How Much Charli D'Amelio Is Actually Worth

Charli D'Amelio is the undisputed queen of TikTok. The 16-year-old novice is currently the most followed person on the video-sharing app, with 114 million followers and over 9 billion likes (via TikTok). D'Amelio began her swift ascent to the top just two months into downloading the social media platform (via The Atlantic). After a few months of posting videos, she dueted a popular choreographer and, as you may have guessed, the video went viral. D'Amelio subsequently gained a following due to her dancing abilities, and her popularity skyrocketed.

TikTok expert Alessandro Bogliari told Distractify that with her rising fame, D'Amelio became the "perfect" image of what a girl dancing on the app looks like. "It was trending because everyone was commenting, 'I don't understand the hype.' Then they went from [watching] her videos and to then making fun of themselves saying 'now I get it,'" she said.

D'Amelio has since moved away from just dancing on the app — from her hair color, to what she eats, to what clothes she wear — D'Amelio is the center of TikTok's attention. Regardless of what helped D'Amelio gain the "hype," she is one of the top earners on the app and has managed to transform her social media success into full-blown celebrityhood.

Charli D'Amelio has many lucrative partnerships thanks to TikTok

Charli D'Amelio's public profile boomed, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that brands and companies were on her doorstep with deals. D'Amelio earns a great deal of her money from said brand deals and endorsements, and she definitely doesn't show signs of slowing down any time soon.

So what are some of her deals? The TikTok star was announced the "Chief Jeanealogist" for clothing company, Hollister, in July 2020 (via Cosmopolitan), and became the face of Dunkin'. In September 2020, America's favorite coffee company announced their latest drink, "The Charli," which was inspired by D'Amelio (via Marketing Dive). Dunkin' has since released "The Charli Remix" and launched a merchandising collaboration with her. D'Amelio has also collaborated with beauty brand Morphe to create the Morphe 2 collection with her sister, Dixie D'Amelio, and has worked with other beauty companies (via The Richest).

D'Amelio's most highly anticipated project is her reality television series, "The D'Amelio Show," set to premiere on Hulu in 2021. Belisa Balban, vice president of documentaries at Hulu, said in a press release that the "The D'Amelio Show" will join the platform's "growing slate of docuseries about the human experience" and will give viewers "an authentic look" at the D'Amelio family and the two sisters taking over social media (via The Verge).

According to Celebrity Net Worth, D'Amelio is worth $8 million dollars as of publication.
