Here's How Jennifer Lopez Is Reportedly Feeling About Reuniting With Ben Affleck

Almost two decades ago, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez became Hollywood's golden couple. The pair, who were deemed "Bennifer" by fans, first met in 2002 when they co-starred together in the movie "Gigli" (via Us Weekly). The duo began dating and got engaged a year later, as Affleck popped the question with a massive 6-carat pink diamond ring. In 2003, the couple co-starred together again in "Jersey Girl," as their wedding date loomed near. In September 2003, the couple shockingly postponed their wedding just days before the ceremony due to "excessive media attention." However, a few months later, in January 2004, the pair announced their split.

In the years following their breakup, both Lopez and Affleck spoke about their mutual respect for one another, and in April 2021 they seemed to rekindle their flame. Just days after Lopez confirmed her split from fiancé Alex Rodriguez, Affleck was spotted at her home. Page Six reported that the couple was trying to keep things low-key by having Lopez's security pick up Affleck in a white SUV and drive him to her mansion. However, the paparazzi got wind of the reunion and snapped photos of Affleck at his former fiancé's gate. A week later, the pair were spotted vacationing together in Montana. Now, sources are dishing on Lopez's real feelings about the reunion.

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly open to a future with Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are said to be enjoying their time back together. The pair were photographed together in Montana, and People noted that the trip was a successful one. "[Jennifer] had a great time with Ben. She is happy with him and enjoys spending time with him," a source told the outlet. In addition, Lopez is said to be interested in a future with Affleck as their reunion continues to progress. "[She] is open to having a relationship. She wants to spend as much time with Ben as possible to see where this could go," the insider added.

A previous source told the magazine that Lopez and Affleck still have chemistry after all of these years. "They have a strong connection. It's all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy," the informant dished. Meanwhile, one person who may not be happy about the "Bennifer" reunion is Lopez's former fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. The former baseball player was asked about Lopez moving on so quickly with her ex-boyfriend, as well as their getaway to Montana (via Page Six). However, all he had to say in response was, "Go Yankees." In addition, sources told E! that Rodriguez was "very shocked" by the news of Lopez and Affleck's relationship, as he was hoping to work things out with the actress.
