The Truth About Matthew Perry's Famous Exes

Matthew Perry shot to fame when he landed the role of Chandler Bing on NBC's hit series "Friends." The actor, who went on to star in films such as "17 Again," "Fools Rush In," and "The Whole Nine Yards" (via IMDb), was a part of one of Hollywood's hottest groups in the '90s, and his love life definitely benefited from it. Perry has had a string of famous girlfriends since his rise to fame, although fans may not remember his high-profile romances.

According to The Sun, actress Julia Roberts was among one of Perry's most famous girlfriends. The actor dated the "Pretty Woman" star from 1995 to 1996, and Roberts even guest-starred in an episode of "Friends" as one of Chandler's childhood girlfriends. Shortly after ending his relationship with Roberts, the actor moved on to "Baywatch" star Yasmine Bleeth. Ironically, Perry's "Friends" character was obsessed with "Baywatch." The duo dated for a few short months before calling it quits.

In 1998, Perry co-starred in the film "Three to Tango" with "Party of Five" actress Neve Campbell. Campbell also co-starred alongside Perry's "Friends" wife Courteney Cox in the movie "Scream" just two years prior. The duo seemed destined to hit it off, but the romance was short-lived. A few years later, Perry found himself in a serious relationship with "The Bold and the Beautiful" actress Maeve Quinlan. The couple dated for a year before splitting in 2003. Of course, Quinlin wasn't the last actress that Perry was linked to.

Matthew Perry is now engaged to Molly Hurwitz

The Sun reports that following Perry's split with Maeve Quinlan, he casually dated "Gilmore Girls" actress Lauren Graham. The couple has seemingly remained friends since their fling ended in 2003, and even worked together on Perry's post "Friends" TV series "The Odd Couple." Following their breakup, Perry met fashion student Rachel Dunn. The actor was 14 years her senior, but the pair dated for two years and even sparked marriage rumors during their romance. Following his relationship with Dunn, Perry began a romance with "Mean Girls" actress Lizzy Caplan. The couple kept their romance quiet and low-key during its six-year run, but reportedly split in 2012.

In 2018, Perry started dating Molly Hurwitz. The couple spent two years together before he popped the question in November 2020. "I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time," Perry told People Magazine. Perry is more than 20 years older than the talent manager, but the couple are reportedly going strong. "Matthew's found happiness with a woman who adores him for who he is. He can't wait to get married," a source told OK! Magazine in April 2021. The insider also added that Perry and Hurwitz plan to get married over the summer after the "Friends" TV reunion special airs.
