Inside Darcey & Stacey's Relationship Today

The TLC franchise "90 Day Fiancé" is known for creating some of the biggest stars in the reality television sphere.

In 2017, Connecticut native Darcey Silva made her debut on Season 1of "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days" (via In Touch Weekly). After two seasons of documenting her relationship with her then-boyfriend Jesse Meester, Darcey called it quits with her long-distance connection. While her romantic life took a hit during her time on the series, it lead to an amazing career opportunity.

TLC offered Darcey and her twin sister Stacey Silva their spinoff series, "Darcey and Stacey" (via IMDb). The hilarious show premiered in the summer of 2020 and centered on the twins' unique bond. Following the success of Season 1, TLC renewed the spinoff for a second season (via Entertainment Weekly). While "Darcey and Stacey" features many compelling storylines, the special relationship between the two women lies at the heart of the series.

Darcey and Stacey are each other biggest supporters

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Darcey and Stacey Silva revealed that they are very protective of one another. Darcey explained that the twins sometimes slip into a bit of competitiveness with one another but these moments are never intentional.

"We both want the best for each other, and it's not like who gets this first or who gets married first," she explained. "It's not like that. Our life has always happened in tandem." This mirroring can be seen in many aspects of their lives. The Silva sister explained that they had kids around the same time and even got divorced on the exact same day.

Stacey notes that the reality stars like to push each other to be the best version of themselves and achieve their dreams. She concluded," I don't think it's to take each other down or one-up each other, it's more because we know we're going to the top of that mountain together and we have to make it happen together."
