Here's How Bachelor In Paradise Stars Really Feel About The First Season Without Chris Harrison

"Bachelor in Paradise" season 7 debuts tonight after what seems like a looong wait, marking the first time singles will search for love on the beach sans Chris Harrison. Indeed, as fans are well aware, the longtime rosemaster has parted ways with "The Bachelor" franchise — to the tune of $9 million! The move came after he was widely criticized for defending "Bachelor" Matt James' last rose pick Rachael Kirkconnell for past racially-insensitive photos.

Filling in for both Katie Thurston and Michelle Young's seasons of "The Bachelorette" were former leads Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe. And celebrity hosts David Spade, Lil Jon, Tituss Burgess, and Lance Bass will be guiding the "BIP" process this time around (via Marie Claire).

So, how do this season's contestants feel about "Paradise" without Harrison? Well, let's just say some stars are A-okay with the 49-year-old's absence, while others feel too excited about his replacements to miss Harrison too much.

"Bachelor in Paradise" stars are excited for this season even without Chris Harrison

Speaking to ET, contestant Tammy Ly, who once vyed for Peter Weber's heart, said about Harrison, "Honestly I forgot he even existed" (via ABC). Ouch! She went on to declare, "The hosts were so amazing it made it such a great experience. I'm telling you right now this season is the most monumental season they ever released."

Meanwhile, James' season alum Jessenia Cruz told the outlet about the celebrity hosts taking over for Harrison, "I think that added to the excitement, too." She added, "David Spade is going to be hosting along with a bunch of other amazing people, so we were really pumped to meet them."

Fresh off of Thurston's season, Aaron Clancy also told ET about meeting Lil Jon, "I loved it. I couldn't of thought of a better person to crash the party. Took a tequila shot with the guy, highlight of my life."

Meanwhile, even though "BIP" hasn't officially aired yet, Twitter is already weighing in on Harrison's absence as well, with one person tweeting, "Bring back Chris Harrison...David Spade is annoying." Another Twitter user opined, "Bachelor in Paradise is going to be rough w/o Chris Harrison..."

Maybe tonight will change some minds!
