What We Know About Bachelor In Paradise Season 7 Release Date, Cast, And Spoilers

Rejoice "Bachelor" fans because after "Bachelor in Paradise" was delayed last summer due to Covid-19, season 7 is finally set to air (via Insider). Along with the new season comes a new cast — with some familiar faces from "Bachelor Nation" of course — as well as new hosts. That's right — it has been confirmed that Chris Harrison has permanently stepped away from the franchise, to the tune of $9 million.

The summer love contest, which finds men and women pairing off on dates, and then handing out roses and forming couples, with singles being sent home, will take place in its usual locale — the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Playa Escondida resort in Sayulita, Mexico (via Parade). We can't wait to see sexy singles hit the beach and start their search for love.

The good news is we won't be waiting too much longer. Because with Katie Thurston's season of "The Bachelorette" wrapping early on August 9, 2021, "BIP" is up next, before Michelle Young's season of "The Bachelorette" begins in October (via Cosmopolitan and AZCentral).

Release date

As Marie Claire reports, "Bachelor in Paradise" filmed during a three week period in June 2021. Women's Health states ABC already filmed the final rose ceremony — so it's a wrap! When can we expect to see the very first episode of season 7?

Mark your calendars, "Bachelor Nation." The official release date is Monday, August 16, 2021. And remember that past seasons have aired on two nights on ABC — both Mondays and Tuesdays, which is likely to happen again this season. We know — it's a big commitment to be a "BIP" fan, but we are right there with you.

From everything we know about season 7 of "BIP," the hours spent in front of the TV will 100 percent be worth the investment. Because it seems there is more drama than ever this year, with bartender Wells Adams confirming to Us Weekly, "There's love, there's romance. There's a lot of drama, you know, it's got everything. The drinks are bad, the advice is worse, but the bar is open. ... There are some twists and turns that I was shocked by, and I never thought would ever happen on the show. And I think people are really, really going to love this season."

Cast

In addition to Adams, expect to see some of your favorite "Bachelor" cast members from seasons past appear on the beach in Mexico. Katie Thurston castoffs will abound, with Aaron Clancy, Connor Brennan, James Bonsall, Karl Smith, and Tre Cooper among the men who will be searching for their perfect matches (via ABC). Men from Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams' season will also be on hand to date the ladies joining the cast, from Brendan Morais, to Ivan Hall, to Kenny Braasch, to Noah Erb.

And then, there's Joe Amabile, A.K.A. "Grocery Store Joe." We first met the lovable Chicago native on Becca Kufrin's season of "The Bachelorette" (via Life & Style). We then saw Amabile fall in love with Kendall Long on season 5 of "BIP." The super-cute couple announced their amicable split in February of last year (via People).

On the ladies' side, get ready to see fan favorite Abigail Heringer from Matt James' season hit the beach, as well as Jessenia Cruz, Serena Chew, and the always-controversial Victoria Larson, who is already creating waves over her altered appearance. Peter Weber's castoffs include Victoria Paul, Kelsey Weir, Natasha Parker, Tammy Ly, and Deandra Kanu, while Tahzjuan Hawkins from Colton Underwood's season also returns for another run at "BIP" (via Refinery29).

Hosts

We would be remiss in not mentioning who will host season 7 of "Bachelor in Paradise." No, it's not the hosts of Thurston's season, Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe, who recently announced they will return as hosts for Young's season as well.

Instead, we will be treated to a variety of celebrity hosts like, drum roll please, the always-hiarious David Spade (via E! Online). "The Wrong Missy" star is joined by Lance Bass, Lil Jon, and Tituss Burgess, of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" fame (via IMDb).

Us Weekly reports that Adams is hosting too, and his fiancée Sarah Hyland is rumored to make a cameo as well.

Spoilers

Now to the really good part — spoilers! And let us tell you, there are many! Don't read ahead if you want to be surprised.

Reality Steve reports that three couples make it to the end of the show intact. Among them are Amabile and James' former flame, Serena Pitt. The outlet notes they did get engaged, as did the other two couples, Braasch and Mari Pepin, also from James' season, and Riley Christian, who dated Crawley and Adams, and Maurissa Gunn, who dated Weber.

In more spoiler news, it seems getting to the final roses produced quite a few tears, with Adams even breaking down at one point (via Marie Claire). A teaser for the show also reveals that Demi Burnett joins the cast at some point. Remember, more eligible singles appear on the beach throughout the season, with other rumored cast members being Tia Booth, Victoria Fuller, and even Kufrin, as well as Chris Randone, who recently split with his wife from a previous season, Krystal Nielson.

Reality Steve shares the fate of every couple in the cast, but we don't want to spoil everything. We will offer one more tidbit — Kufrin is rumored to not find love in "Paradise." Okay, fine! One more. Women's Health reports that Morais and Pieper James leave together early in the season — and may even have been dating before the show filmed.
