Erika Jayne Has The Best Response After Getting Criticized For Shopping At TJ Maxx

It seems "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Erika Jayne can't win. Amid legal drama surrounding the unethical business practices of her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, and accusations that Jayne herself was involved in misappropriating funds meant for victims of a plane crash and a gasoline explosion, the star was previously criticized for flying in a private jet (via People). Then, more recently, the singer was shamed for shopping at a discount store (via Page Six).

The newest controversy unfolded when a Twitter user called Jayne out for being photographed perusing the racks at TJ Maxx. "Shopping at TJMAXX.... with your assistant?.... Optics EJ....you are smarter than this.... This NOT winning!" the person posted.

Not surprisingly, in keeping with her typical take-no-prisoners approach to being shamed and even threatened on social media, Jayne responded, "I shopped there for years. I also went to petco and Target. Stop over analyzing my life."

And, in another not shocking turn of events, Twitter also had its take on the TJ Maxx trip.

Twitter has strong opinions about Erika Jayne shopping at TJ Maxx

Fans and foes of Jayne also weighed in on the discount store shopping drama via Twitter, with many defending the reality star's TJ Maxx devotion. "Leave her alone/no matter how much money someone has there's nothing wrong with shopping at those places," one individual tweeted.

But others who are following the legal mess were not so quick to stand behind the embattled star, with one person blasting Jayne, "Stop telling people to photograph you when you go out. Easy peasy!" Someone else was even more direct, tweeting, "Stop spending victims money at petco and target."

Another non-supporter commented, "It does not matter where you shopped sis, you still shopped there on someone else's dime."

No matter where you stand on the issue of Jayne shopping at TJ Maxx, one thing we can all agree upon is that this is not the last time the "RHOBH" star's actions will be talked about on social media!
