Chrissy Teigen Likes To Listen To This Singer Over John Legend

While the premiere of the hit singing competition series "The Voice" is always one of the best moments of the year, this season the series is enjoying even more attention. In March 2021, pop sensation Ariana Grande revealed that she is joining the reality series as a judge (via Life and Style Magazine). She wrote on Instagram, "Surprise!!! I am beyond thrilled, honored [and] excited to be joining [Kelly Clarkson], [John Legend] and [Blake Shelton] next season; Season 21." Her fans immediately took to her comment section to express how excited they are for her to join the series, while her fellow judges joked that they were scared of their new competition (via Billboard). Legend said, "Ariana has a huge fanbase and they are fervent, and if they show up to vote, then we're all in trouble."

After months of waiting for Grande's highly anticipated debut, fans rejoiced when the singer finally hit the silver screen on Monday, September 20, 2021. While many of the "Thank U Next" singer's followers have expressed that they are rooting for her this season, one surprising celebrity admitted that they're also on Team Ariana. "The Voice" coach John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen revealed on her Instagram story that she lives in an "Ariana Grande household" (via People).

Chrissy Teigen is supporting husband John Legend, too

On the day of "The Voice" Season 21 premiere, Chrissy Teigen shared that she is a massive fan of the latest judge, Ariana Grande (via People). She said on her Instagram story, "Today is a bit of a funny day because it's the premiere of The Voice and John absolutely knows that this house only listens to Ariana Grande, Imagine how awkward it is for John to live in this Ariana Grande household and have to be him." While Teigen's love for Grande runs deep, she did share that she will still support her husband.

She continued, "Anyhow, I didn't go to any of the tapings, I had no idea who's who or what's what. So I'm going to be watching along with all of you. And I'll try .... I will be unbiased and also support my husband." However, Grande did later share a text from the influencer that read, "Do u have any assets i can post to be team Ari?" While Teigen appears to be leaning toward Team Ariana at the moment, her husband still has time to sway her to his side before the live shows begin taping — though the "Positions" singer has proven to be very steep competition.
