Who Did Chrishell Stause Play On The Young And The Restless?

Fans have come to know Chrishell Stause for a number of reasons. Of course, her high-profile marriage to "This Is Us" actor Justin Hartley captured attention (via Women's Health). However, it was the couple's sudden split and public divorce that really had people talking (via Us Weekly). The couple married in 2017 and Hartley filed for divorce in 2019, citing "irreconcilable differences." Sources later told the outlet that the divorce was a shock even to the couple's friends, although it was alleged that Hartley had been struggling in the marriage for some time.

Of course, Stause is also known for her reality TV endeavors, including her involvement with Netflix's hit series "Selling Sunset." The show focuses on a group of realtors at the Oppenheim Group as they navigate both their careers and personal lives (via Rotten Tomatoes). In addition to her success on "Selling Sunset," Stause also appeared on Season 29 of "Dancing with the Stars," where she was eliminated after eight weeks of competition, per People.

Some fans also know Stause for her roles on popular soap operas as well.

Chrishell Stause appeared on 'DOOL' before heading to 'Y&R'

Fans of daytime television may remember Chrishell Stause for her role as Jordan Ridgeway on NBC's soap opera "Days of Our Lives." After playing the role of Amanda Dillon on "All My Children" for years, the actress joined "DOOL" in 2013 as a physical therapist who was hired to help Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) recover from serious injuries that he suffered after being beaten badly and placed into a medically induced coma (via Soap Central). Jordan's brother Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was also introduced in the storyline around that time.

While working together, Jordan and Rafe grew close and eventually fell for one another. However, Jordan wasn't exactly who she claimed to be. It was later revealed that Jordan and Ben were the children of a man named Clyde Weston, an abusive man who had ruined his family and forced his children to flee. Jordan and Rafe later split and the character left Salem in 2015, per Soaps in Depth.

However, Jordan returned in 2019 and was much changed. She had suffered a mental breakdown and had kidnapped Ciara Brady in hopes of keeping her away from Ben. Jordan was later killed off, but made a return in July 2020 as a ghost when Ben had a nightmare about his late sister.

While many may remember Stause for her time on "DOOL," she also previously appeared on the popular soap "The Young and the Restless" as well.

Chrishell Stause landed a short arc on 'Y&R' in 2016

In May 2016, Chrishell Stause landed the role of Bethany Bryant on "The Young and the Restless." The actress may have been a newcomer on the show, but she wasn't unfamiliar with the sudser as her then-boyfriend Justin Hartley and her close friend Melissa Claire Egan, both worked on the soap as well (via CBS). Stause's character, Bethany, was described as a "wild child" that was ready to shake things up in Genoa City.

"I would describe her as very free. She's very live-in-the-moment. She enjoys being a bit of a troublemaker," Stause said at the time. "It's super fun to play this character because there are similarities. I would like to think I'm not as much of a troublemaker, but it sure is fun to play one!" she added.

Bethany came to Genoa City with ties to Billy Abbot, whom she had previously worked for at On The Boulevard. She was also revealed to be harboring romantic feelings for Billy (via Soaps). However, her arc was a short one, lasting only 10-episodes, per Showbiz Cheat Sheet. Although Stause's role on "Y&R" didn't last long, fans enjoyed seeing the actress on the canvas before she went on to find more TV fame with "Selling Sunset."
