Another Member Of Will Smith's Family Is Trending For All The Wrong Reasons

There aren't very many people who didn't hear the slap heard around the world. Will Smith's fit of rage at the Oscars has been a topic of conversation since it happened. Everyone from his friends to his wife had something to say about the event. But instead of commenting on his dad's behavior, Jaden Smith has something else to say. Jaden is woke, and he wants everyone to know it. Unfortunately, his comments are not sitting well with everyone. This 23-year-old's comments are making waves, and not in a good way.

Jaden is no stranger to controversy. In the past, the rapper has asked to be legally emancipated after the movie he did with his father was an "abysmal failure" and even talked about psychedelics with his mom and grandma on Red Table Talks. There is no topic off limits for the celebrity son. It turns out that people aren't always that sold on what he's saying though. His recent comments are getting mocked and, well, made into memes to mock him.

Jaden Smith is bashing people his own age

In an interview with BigBoyTV, Jaden Smith mocked kids his own age. Yes, really. While the rest of us are battling over who has the best generation, the 23-year-old is taking down his own. "I am very happy that I spent my childhood with more adults than I did with kids my own age, because I was picking up more things from adults than I were [sic] from kids my own age," Smith said in the interview.

He's woke, you know. Almost too woke to be in his own generation, apparently. "I'm just, like, 'Dude, like, oh my God. Can we talk about the political and economic state of the world, right now?'," he added. "Can we talk about what's going on in the environment? Can we talk about other things?" He also balanced out the statement by saying that he does like to "turn up" and "flex." Seems like the best of both worlds.

Far be it from us to tell you not to follow his advice, but the person advising you does have a "the more you know" star across his crotch at Coachella

People are mocking Jaden Smith mocking his generation

In a definite Generation Z twist of events, Jaden Smith's generation is mocking him mocking them. People are not exactly thrilled with him saying that all his generation wants to do is say "bro" and "take selfies." People on Twitter are not sitting there quietly. Instead, they've created memes poking fun at their interpretations of what a young woke Smith might have been like as a kid.

"Jaden smith when he gets a playstation 5 instead of a book on how to solve inflation in bangladesh for christmas [sic]," one tweet reads accompanied by a photo of Thanos staring at the camera. Another tweet reads, "Jaden Smith at the age of 12 when he got a Wii instead of the declaration of independence [sic]." This tweet shows a photo of Travis Scott looking distressed during his social media apology for the AstroWorld tragedy

What's another day without a controversial Smith family moment? It's almost becoming a daily occurrence at this point.
