Fans Flock To Ashley Tisdale's Twitter After Her Hilarious Met Gala Comments

Taurus season and post-shower flowers aside, the month of May also brings about a gloriously exciting event: the Met Gala. Each year, on the first Monday of May (per Teen Vogue), the Metropolitan Museum of Art holds the star-studded gala, where celebrities and fashionable figures alike all come to strut the red carpet in their elaborate looks. Major stars like Blake Lively, Kim Kardashian, and Zendaya have all flaunted immaculately crafted looks over the years that definitely became cultural moments all their own.

If you're among the millions of fashion fans eager to check out all of the Met Gala looks, you've probably noticed that not every notable celebrity is present at the event — which, to some, may seem like quite a shame. As one of the many Disney darlings of the early 2000s, Ashley Tisdale truly made her mark on the pop culture of that beloved era. In fact, one could argue that she was an early 2000s icon, especially when it comes to her memorable performances ... and fashion choices. While she wasn't included on the Met Gala invite list (per Us Weekly), the "Suite Life" actor had plenty of hilarious commentary to share about the fashionable night.

Ashley Tisdale shared some of her throwback outfits on Twitter

In her role as Maddie Fitzpatrick on "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," Ashley Tisdale rocked a pretty distinctive outfit throughout the series. On the red carpet, however, Tisdale donned a wide (and wild) array of fashion choices. On the night of the 2022 Met Gala, the singer and actor shared a hilarious tweet complete with four pictures of some of her most famous red carpet outfits of the early 2000s, writing "If I ever get invited to the #MetGala I would replicate one of my past iconic looks..." The tweet clearly grabbed some major attention, as it has over 750k likes and 70k retweets at the time of this writing.
